I agree that Inkmaster Solia wasn't a very good card, even though I still have it. But going from "If your deck has no duplicates" to "if you are holding a dragon" and changing the orange gem into a blue one AND reducing the mana cost is underselling it a little bit, I think.
I mean, the design suggests a tempo play, which you never really cared about in a Reno deck. Adding a free 5/5 to a Flamestrike, Blizzard or a Kazakus Potion was surprisingly not quite broken enough, when you were constantly playing defensively anyway. Also, the 7 mana cost was a bit akward, since the discount on the spell didn't free up enough mana to do have a crazy turn.
Will this card do better? I don't know. I think with the much easier condition and the lower cost, it might have a chance in a midrange deck. You can play a bit more proactively without the highlander requirement, and keep this card around for a Pyroblast or a Power of Creation. It might even be good enough to simply play it with Conjurer's Calling, transforming a weak 6 mana minion into two (hopefully) better ones.
I hesitate to call it good, but it's definitely worth trying out.
A new personal goal of mine is to play a Luna's Pocket Galaxy deck that draws the entire deck and combos out 2 Fireball and 2 Pyroblast for 10 mana using 1-cost Dragoncasters to cheat the pyroblasts.
This card can only be good if there is a Dragon-Spell Mage deck.
Even then, you have to have spells that do something proactive, or this card will be just stuck in your hand.
What spells does mage have?
Pyroblast face in a Dragon deck? Not great.
Flamestrike? Sure, if the opponent has the right board.
Blizzard? Why not.
Power of Creation? Now we're talking. But will a Dragon deck play Power of Creation? Questionable.
Luna's Pocket Galaxy? It seems like the best option, and it synergizes with all the fat dragons in your deck. Maybe that's the reason this card might see play. Maybe.
Ya this card feels SUPER OP... the rest of the cards have felt strong to op but this is the first one that I can see getting nerfed: 6 mana 4/4 and pyro... and if its on turn 10 add in a fireball... and you can do it twice... SOOO swingy

nice 6 mana pyro
+10 for box memes
Pyroblast + Fireball
Inkmaster Solia cries in a corner.
Yeah, giving mage a way to deal 16 damage in one turn with Pyroblast and Fireball while creating board presence isn't going to cause any problems...

I sense incoming trouble
This is a SERIOUS powercreep!!
I'm already seeing people whining for Conjurer's Calling, Pocket Galaxy and even Pyroblast nerfs!!
What a stupidly strong card.
I feel like this is the unexpectedly super-overpowered card of this expansion...a lot of expensive cards you'd gladly play a turn or 2 sooner in Mage
You can't stop the signal.

very good, cheaper and not legendary, nearrly as good as kalecgos :)
This is way better than kalecgos

Why is this a dragon? isn’t the caster the Draenei riding on the dragon’s back? or is she just along for the ride?
i mean, better than both shaman legendarys... for shaman players who don't play quest, i protest
why is it dragon tribe if the card is clearly the draenei on the dragons back.
bits aside, its strong in a non-existent big spell archetype.
Will have to see on this one
6 Mana Solia with Flamestrike, Puzzlebox or Pyroblast - very good fo sho, sign me in.
4/4 + x2 5/12 taunt (or another good 6 manas discovered) for 6 manas?
Yes, sign me in.
Maybe mage drop highlander build for full dragon package with x2 Power Of Creation.
Finally letting Mage cast burn spells again instead of just flooding the board over and over ... feels good to me.
