Looks busted form me. at 10 mana with warlock tap its 10/18 stats on board. You can trigger its effect even by Flame Imp to make it 13/20 in split bodies, or 2 flame imps for 16/22.
Opponent need to remove it from board before dealing damage to your face, and killing 4/12 isn't always that easy (one of the reasons classic Ysera is still playable).
Looks like a a buff to slow warlock if this archetype is yet to return (quite possible judging from released cards up to the date)
Edit: The more i think about this card the less excited I am. My first impression was WOAH, but when i tried to compare it with some of lately announced cards, it just looks less impressive. Perhaps this card is very strong, but not strong enough? It made me to change my mind from very good to playable.
Main issue with this card, it has no immediate impact, and we know that is something we want at turn 8+. I can see this card in slow value orientated warlock deck, if one should be playable. Perhaps it will be played, but rather as an addition to deck not core of it.
If the battlecry have "For the rest of the game" then it is awesome, actually can be a smart way to replace Lord Jarraxus, but it is not . This card is obviously a Control card but in any serious control matchup like vs Warrior or Priest they have zillion way of kill this dragon in a hearth beat.
So far, the mechanic of damaging yourself during your turn proved to be too slow - even Diseased Vulture, which allows to snowball an early board, didn't have much success.
Yes, you can play this on 10 and hero power, getting a decent board and forcing your opponent to deal with your 4/12, which isn't terrible. It also isn't great against any particular strategy.
I doubt this will see much play unless a Dragon Warlock deck will be starving for dragons. Even then, I feel there are better neutral dragons available already.

Notably, this card triggers on your opponent’s turn too meaning they can’t go face without letting you go Chef Nomi on them but that hardly saves the card.
Cinderstorm misses the dragon and all goes face .... 5 6/6 nether dragons lol and a 4/12. Or hunter hero power for 12 ok ill make a 6/6 you can do 2 for every 6/6 dragon you want to beat the snot out of you next turn. It looks fun.
it prevents your opponent from going facei if the game isnt over but against aggro you are mostly dead on 8 if you play this with a full board of 6/6 and against control it will just get removed so i dont see any warlock deck where you want to play this
Nope. Far too slow, and it has no immediate Board effect. We had much stronger effects than this card, and it wasn't much stronger. I still think it's playable, but i'm torn between playable and bad.

Its name is Zzeraku the Warped.
not good enough.

This card feels underwhelming.

O, wow, I missed that.
That changes my evaluation of the card dramatically.
It actually seems really interesting now :)
Warlock dragon!Wow what a name! Next warlock hero will be propably be the WARLOCK HERO!
It’s a placeholder name, bud. Until there’s a confirmed translation of its true name.
Release the Kraken!

Step 1: play this
Step 2: Opponent hits your face with all his minions
Step 3: You have a board full of 6/6 Dragons, but you're dead.
It is like a tount but not really. Still a good card

It is a good natural taunt because the effect works on his turn too.
Also, by 8 Mana 4/12 exceeds the average of expected

Didn't like the card and didn't like the name... Seriously wtf warlock dragon? just like that ?
Name is placeholder. Why don't the people read the first posting?
Blizzard Dev 1: so, Warrior Dragon was a big success, people love the name
Blizzard Dev 2 *smokes weed*: maybe we should call the rest of our cards like this
Blizzard Dev 1: Then we should make some even more epic name: let’s call this Legendary guy... WARLOCK DRAGON
Blizzard Dev 2: yeah, that’s cool
The amount of people lacking basic reading skills in this thread is astounding.
Sad, I really thought, Warlock will get Ultraxxion as Legendary Dragon...
