My dream play would be facing an Aluneth Mage as a Pirate warrior and stealing it from them!! But of course I wouldn't run this in a wild aggro deck
It would be interesting to see ancharrr run in control warrior and you run this card to draw it from ancharrr. Run a couple other value pirates like Greenskin or maybe even naga Corsair in wild and it could be a nice draw engine over something like acolyte.
If you did decide to do this though, Aluneth is probably not the weapon you’re looking to steal lol.
The question is, will the weapon you steal be better than drawing cards off Harrison Jones? I think for right now the answer is no.
Well, there will be a significant number of 5/1 weapons to steal if Galakrond becomes a big part of the meta. I think stealing a 5/1 is much more valuable than drawing one card. But in today’s meta, certainly Harrison seems to make more sense.
An original idea from Blizzard! I like this. However unless a dominant class has a really powerful weapon I don't think this will be played. But, sometimes they release cards in an expansion knowing they are really planning for future expansions. The few pirate cards I see today make me wonder if these are just the beginning of a new archetype for 2020.
This is a meta defining card imo. It will see play in control warrior for example. When you get cards to solve issues like Skulking Giest it sees plays.
In a perfect imaginary world, this has so many potentials to get revenge against cancerous decks...1) steal bombwarrior weapon, plant a bomb, 2) steal kingsbane, shuffle it in your deck, 3) steal twig, trigger it for mana, 4)steal skull of man'ari, summon nothing..Let your opponents cry in a corner..
I'm going to assume 'steal' implies literally taking the weapon and equipping it as is on your character. So, it's not destroying the weapon and thereby will not trigger any deathrattles and I don't think it's adding the weapon to your hand to be played later but rather equipping it directly onto your character and can be used immediately. If that assumption is accurate, I think it's a pretty solid card and arguably the best weapon removal tool we've ever seen. With the inclusion of Galakrond across several classes and the rampant weapon usage we've seen pretty much forever, I think this card will see plenty of play in the upcoming meta. Voted: Very Good.

Even if we consider a draw between the two options Harrison have better stats and more useful if opponent don't use weapons.
I only see this being used if an eternal weapon like Kingbane be released again.
EDIT: Ok, the new warrior weapon can tutor this card, warriors will use that instead Harrison.

Hello Galakrond, you have such nice claws, I think I'll take them.
Say Arrivederci to your weapon! And yes, this card is a JoJo reference
Why :(
Why it takes so long to create this and Zul'Drak Ritualist ?
Pirate Warrior is looking like it'll make a return, and this card will be hilarious in the mirror stealing the legendary weapon

a weapon tech card thats absolutely 100% better than ooze, sign me up.
Prolly niche but arena classes that use weapons will hate this
The deck in the game does not run weapons, so this card is not necessary.

It is never specified if it is stolen from the hand, deck or when equipped or applied in any scenario
its steals from play obviously, like Kezan Mystic
