I'm trying to figure out how to play this card decently, but I can only think about combos with Void Terror, Shadowflame and stuff like that. Well, maybe just own-silence it but that feels so meh... I'm sad about new warlock cards, I want to play this class cause it's my "WoW class", but I just don't like Zoo and def tired of Giants decks. Demon Lock would be awesome, but so far I don't know if we'd be able to craft a viable deck with that kind of cards. Or at least a decent deck with warlock cards (even if they are warlock-mechs), but no more only-neutral-cards-decks for warlock :_______________________________
Probably the recently spoiled card I am most hype for: 6 mana 9/9 is INSANE value and the effect should be silence-able, sure it is vanilla but it crushes even Giants and Ragnaros and lives! It's even a Mech! The downside is real, of course, but it is the kind of card with such an explosive upside you can't help but salivate at the possibility...I'm guessing this will see play in Shaman and Paladin a lot, especially midrange Shaman which keeps minions on the board and has Totems to help keep a dude up for him.
In Arena, he is harder to keep around, but a 6 mana 9/9 is simply insane in a meta which relies more on attack/health. High pick, I think, and really high in Shaman and Paladin as they keep him on the board easier. Trades for an Ogre AND a 3/2 for 6!

It can work. The only demons I use, however are Voidcaller, Doomguard, Flame Imps, and Dread Infernal (I used to use Void Terror and Pit Lord, but they took up slots better suited for a solid early game, the very thing most midrange demon decks lack). If I had Jaraxxus I would toss him in too. The thing is, to handle the aggro meta consistently, you gotta have a Zoo-like early game, with buff cards like Shattered Sun Cleric and Defender. Then tack on the ubiquitous control cards, like Loatheb, Belcher, and [I run] Ragnaros, along with Moltens to exploit your HP resource. Shadowflames are your best friend.
Doesn't have the winrate of Zoo or Deathrattle Hunter, but it's fun to play and works on the ladder.
In other news - i can see using this in Handlock for sure. I actually like the downside being something that doesn't hurt your hero or cards (finally) - but the fact it checks every turn is gonna make this super hard to keep on the board...but that's a challenge i'm game to tackle.
I guess this guy can be some serious Void Terror value if you have to trade away all your stuff. Seems pretty cool and I think I might make Wailing Warlock if I ever get my hands on this puppy.
6 mana.. too late for zoo. Needs another minion or else it dies, even on opponent's turn. If a zoo deck can keep something like that by turn 6, they won anyway and are just waiting for the doomguard finish. If you get it early on then it WILL sit dead until soulfire/doomguard burns it.
Also note it's BGHable and doesn't do anything same turn. I can see handlock try to use it though: taunt it up with defender and it's another 'giant'.

Which, as you say, makes it a poor choice for a strictly Zoo deck. You would need some big threats to bait out BGH before trying to rely on this puppy.
Talk about this card!

Huge value for 6 mana, huge drawback. I like it!

looks like a win more card. You need a good board to get value from this one.
9 mana combo with void terror?
its a warlock card
My soul is painted like the wings on butterflies, the fairytales of yesterday will grow but never die. I can fly, my friends.
Wailing soul combo? Works automatically at turn 10 for sure, maybe before
You know this is a warlock card, right?
It's funny how people miss that.
Potentially has use in zoo, or handlock with a hoot hoot.

sorry Ruki - this is Warlock only.

Agreed. I think its a one of though.
How do you mean?

One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.

Maybe paired with some stealth?
I mean I would only run one of them in my deck rather than two.
