Kinda weird. It looks good but for some reason I feel like it's not good enough. Summoning an 8/8, even just a 6/6 or 5/5 with Taunt (and the 2/2 Summoner) isn't bad at all.
Maybe I feel too reminded of cards like Big-Time Racketeer and Former Champ, not quite realizing that the token will have Taunt. Or maybe I feel like getting a big Taunt on turn 6 isn't impactful enough.
Anyway, I occasionally still play Even Warlock in Wild, and I will definitely try this out in it (even though the deck kinda sucks by now). Summoning probably a 7/7 or 8/8 Demon with Taunt that Bloodreaver Gul'dan can resurrect is definitely worth checking out.
As for Standard... I don't know, but it's better than most of the cards Warlock received the last few expansions. So, it might help.
Kinda reminds me of Spiteful summoner but slightly weaker and is strictly for warlock which is good. This card doesn't seem spectacular but this will be necessary and worth running with the warlock legendary for sure and will certainly shine in that deck. We may just be seeing the rise of Handlock once again, I do have high hopes but we are gonna need to see not just one good healing card for the deck to be good again.
