Not true. You force them to make a difficult choice, ping your hero and sure, they will deny you a free taunt, but in doing so it ensures your big attack 1-health minions survive another turn and will be a constant threat. It’s a win-win scenario for Paladin.
Paladin still suffers from Deck limit. it's really hard to justify putting this into the deck cause it Costs way too much.
it's a 2 mana spell + Card slot from the deck. if a card doesn't have immediate powerful effect it loses it's value.
Almost every single tech/Removal/ effect in the game screws with paladin class more than any other class. Silence = counters buffing Polymorph = counters buffing and minions Board clears = counters paladin's board. Mind control = counters big minions Sap = screws with their mana usage + buffs u cannot exhausts these cards anymore because of how almost all other classes have Card discover regen. which forces one type of play which is OTK.
so running a card like this is questionable. and depends mostly on how the meta
Surely it should read: "Take no damage during your opponent's turn" ?
Yeah... If Blizzard doesn't change the text before launch, I guess there will be at least """some""" threads here on Hearthpwn about how this card doesn't work """properly"""... XD
It is take no damage during opponent turn. Look at the video again. The opponent end their turn. (Secret only trigger on opponent turn)
This card is 4/5 (Not too OP but is a 2 mana 3/6 taunt nevertheless because this secret will surely trigger in 1-2 turn)
This isn't a Secret.
But now that you mention it, it probably should be. Seems like they just forced a Secret into the "Sidequest" mold because they couldn't come up with anything better.
Super sloppy, super artificial. Would have been fine if they had just called it a Secret in the first place.

Hardly useless if it forces opponent into sub-optimal plays like heropower-pass.
Yes in some games I'm sure it will force the opponent to use his hero power literally every turn, this quest can generate either insane tempo early game if it triggers (it's 3 more health than bear trap!) , or incremental tempo loss every turn as long as it doesn't trigger.
Maybe i'm not seeing everything but I think this is a 5 star card. Might not see play because it doesn't fit into dragon builds or whatever, who knows.

It would ruin the thing about paladin secrets being 1 mana cards, I know blizzard cares about this stuff

They do because if there woud be a Paladin Secret for two Mana it is no Secret because the Opponet sees that you pay 2 Mana insteed of one
I feel like all of hearthstone's major problems are because deck size is so small. There's a lot of on paper good cards that don't see play because you have so little room in a deck

It's still not a great "quest" if it happens in one turn and depends entirely on your opponent's decisions.
This is a very solid card for a slower deck. You play this and let it run until it triggers - unlike a secret, it can't be destroyed!! Your opponent MUST hit you EVERY SINGLE TURN!!! He can't think about trading, otherwise, he'll have another troublesome minion to deal with!!
against some of the greedy combo decks this is very viable. With most of these sidequests their viability is based on how their draws go, Ill keep an eye out.

Vote for my Card Design Submission! I love this one!
No, because the quest wasn't active for the turn you've taken no damage.
No. More cards = worse deck, common rule in card games like this.
It makes drawing the cards you really want less likely.
T1: 1/1 taunt divine shield
T2: this
T3: profit

Coin this shit on turn 1 for a 3/6 with taunt on turn 2. Folks voting this card as bad are lacking vision.

Really good card. I can see a place for it in a few decks, maybe.

Best aggro card so far.

It is very good because it forces your opponent to ping some classes
Obviously against aggro it doesn't work
