Imagine having such a fragile ego that you get personaly offended when opinions of others on cards don't match your own.
Or having such a fragile ego that you had to answer him just because you instantly feel attacked. Go to the salt thread if you can't see further than control warrior and/or you didn't like the card because you can't think about anything else to at least making him work.

Hearthpwn has turned into a forest of fragile egos. I'm sorry that illiteracy kept you away from understanding basic forum interaction and what I was saying. I never said that I can't find a home for the card. Invoke warrior! There, home found. I'm saying that what is keeping it from being good is a currently much more superior hero/deck.
1: You did not offended anybody, we are just pissed off by how dumb and unpleasant you are
2: aggro warrior got a better winrate than control warrior , so stop embarrassing yourself with your "superior deck" bullshit

Here he comes, trying to pick back pieces of his shattered ego. Aggro warrior got a better winrate than control warrior? Mind backing your fanfic up with actual evidence? Because the last time that I've checked it wasn't aggro warrior that was so dominant that Blizz had to step in and nerf it.
you clearly are obsessed by other's ego but I think the problem here is yours buddy :)
here you go for your actual evidence :
Aggro warrior has a higher winrate, at this moment, than control warrior which was tier 1 deck since Boomdsay project? I'm convinced that it is clearly a superior deck! Pack it up, kids, we're done here!
You obviously can't evaluate it without knowing the warrior Invoke cards, but at a first glance it seems amazing for a tempo based warrior deck.
I wouldn't go for full aggro since playing 4 invokes is far from fast, and it's not a control card either.
But in a rush heavy tempo deck, probably even with Akali in, and a sprinkle of amazing buff targets like konkrons, it seems like it can work. You can buff rushers with Akali, the rest with Gala, etc.
Akali even makes the terrible rush Invoke playable, which is a plus.
Add in some cheap weapons for early control and late game burst, and you'd have a deck that can throw threat after threat every round with enough draw to back them up and removal from weapon/rush as "free" tempo.
A very nice card and probably will be a staple for Midrange and aggro decks, but for control I'm not so sure even when Dr. Boom rotates out. The Warrior hero power is kinda important to have, it really helps alot to survive against not just aggro but in a late game fatigue war as well, and drawing cards is bad ina control vs control matchup. But we'll see if warrior gets more control tools and the invoke cards to make this worth while in that archetype.

Except you didn't just say "Card is bad", you passed a judgement on him; go read what you wrote, if you can't keep your disingenuous story straight even within your own context, what little credibility you have evaporates into nothingness, which is the value of your opinion to boot. If you thought you knew what you think I know, then you'd know I knew you knew I know.
The Warrior hero power is kinda important to have, it really helps a lot to survive against not just aggro but in a late game fatigue war as well, and drawing cards is bad in a control vs control match-up.
Correct thought. And that is what we are all probably missing here guys: for the first time in Hearthstone history Blizzard allows us to change class approach from the start of the game! Warrior was always bound to "Control" archetype because of very limited implementation of its hero power. Pirate Aggro archetype was quiet popular once, but let's admit it, Warrior's hero power was absolutely useless in it. Of course Blizzard tried many variations of how to break initial class hero power limitations and some of them even had great success, like Fire Plume's Heart. Nevertheless imho with invoke mechanic we have completely different approach to those limits. We will see how it goes but for now I am excited.

They made a very smart design choice for Galakrond that's for sure, a lot of people would get upset if they gave Control Warrior a powerful hero card again and rightfully so.
1) This is 7 mana, you think this is some kind of control tool as all other hero cards (except Zul'jin maybe), but this does not have enough late game firepower. Draw 1 card, 2 cards or more, which is great, yeah, but it is not value generation. 3 attack every turn is not good.
2) People apparently think this is adorable in quest warrior. Its turn 7, way too late to change the hero power. So again, its slow. It has this clear synergy with Armored Goon though, it might be a little slow, but thats the only way of not burning out slowly. Do you want your quest warrior deck to be slow, thats a question too. I believe the sooner you get those golems, better it is.
3) Pirate warrior in wild does not need this, if you want a finisher of some kind, get Grom + Inner Fire, its better. That 5 armor does not matter too much either. Drawing Leeroy, Korkron Elite with additional stats is fine. This deck here is the only possible place for this 400 dust worth of garbage.
PS: We clearly do not know what other warrior cards will be released, so all this is written according to collection right now.
In an endurance game, this is far worse than Dr Boom, but it could facilitate a massive spike DPS finisher if there is a reasonable way to shuffle charge minions into your deck late game (kinda like the Holy Wrath + Shirvallah combo). Also, if there is an aggro warrior in the meta, drawing and buffing 4 cards minions while tacking 16/16 in stats onto them could be a reasonable finisher (if the invoke cards in warrior fit into an aggro shell).
I'm not talking about an OTK combo; rather, if you can get a deck with a decent number of charge minions, you could use the draw/buff to create a damage spike that will let you finish an enemy off. Think back to the old Aluneth mage and how it chipped the opponent down until they were within range of a burst, enabled through a powerful draw engine. The claw is 10 damage over two turns, while drawing as few as two charge minions would be enough to deal another 10+ damage against decks that don't run a lot of taunts.
I primarily play hunter, but i believe i will be crafting war master voone for a warrior deck. Also, probably a dumb question, can War Master Voone duplicate Galokrand, the Unbreakable

I am not sure if control warrior will hold up to the power/value spike in each other class. It highly depends on meta and what new tools are given to control warrior. Put that aside, many decks performs quite differently depending on your rank, region, time of playing etc... basically the dynamic environment you are facing each time you hit queue. So I won’t say control warrior has always been a superior deck than other warrior types.
That being said, I agree that Dr.Doom fits the control warrior theme and produce way more board control and value during the late game after you had a chance to spend 9 mana for 7 armor at some point.
That being said, I think the two hero cards have different purpose and should not be compared only on late game control and value. In the early stage of the game, Dr.Doom does nothing and is unplayable until turn 9. Whereas the new card can give you a lot of “free” deal 3 damage, either to the face or for board control. It also comes early, gives you powerful refill(especially if you draw rush minions), and a 5/2 weapon right away. For temple warrior(if that exist in next expansion), that will be very powerful to push for lethal. Even for control warrior deck with a more anti-aggro twist, this card and the invoke cards can ensure early game control and draw cards faster so you can transition into late game with Dr.Doom smoothly and win the game on that. Sure it will sacrifice a lot of late game value, but it is very possible that the environment next expansion requires more early game power before you can even play Dr. Doom.

Insane??
Believe in potential; the multiverse blesses some beings with extraordinary traits, with the potential to do—to be—great things.
Hmm, OTK warrior... Why nobody thought about it? Oh wait... It didn't work at all.
(I don't mean it as insult. I just feel, OTK with this card is silly, at least in standard. In wild it could go pretty well.)

This card would be a good finisher to a more aggro Warrior build.
Play Aggro. Stick with Aggro. Go Face. No where else. Win by Turn 5. Control Decks are garbage.
I primarily play hunter, but i believe i will be crafting war master voone for a warrior deck. Also, probably a dumb question, can War Master Voone duplicate Galokrand, the Unbreakable
Nope. Hero cards don't have tribes.

Wow, people are still talking about control in this thread, when this is very obviously not a control card.
