Also, what happens if I play Swarm of Locusts? Does it block the quest from completing? Does it spawn the 4/4 instead of a 1/1?
I assume it summons however many 1/1s, summons the Griffin, then keeps summoning 1/1s unti km the board is full.
That's how most previous cards of a similar kind have worked.
This card is undoubtedly super strong. a 4/4 with rush is strong and there's the potential to get it off fairly easily and early. Hunter is already in a pretty good place and this slots nicely into highlander hunter but would also see play in other varieties I feel. Good, strong card.
its deceptively better than it looks, the Desert Spear alone is a quest complete (over 3 turns sure but still) even the lynx cards are easy activators. a 4/4 rush beast that has controllable activation on cheap cards isnt really something to snuff at in hunter
Like most of the sidequests, is it good enough to run? prolly not but its way to early to tell what all the potential synergies will be
Springpaw and other rush cards Hunter has and possibly from this set makes this requirement pretty reasonable to fulfil, Hunter is lacking in tempo plays and this helps immensely with that. Highlander is looking even better and is here to stay for a long time, and I love that.
It will make the beast varient of quest Hunter way better. The fact its "summons" and not "play" means it works well with Desert Spear in general, so it could find a place in midrange Hunter as well.

20 dust
With springpaw's and such, it's pretty reasonable to expect you can activate this the turn you play it. That's not nothing.
Not bad. Hunter already runs a good number of rush things, and the payoff is pretty good.
A very good potential to 4/4 rush at round 2. By the way, its a cheap 4/4 for anytime.
And a great Dire Frenzy target
I liked.
Does anybody know if I can play this quest if I already played the legendary quest? I wanna add it to my meme deck.

It can be completed in turn 3, not bad but which deck wants to use a space for this

İt is so easy to complete. Just 3 desert spear charges. İ think it will see play in meta.
If Houndmaster Shaw is on the board, is any minion you play considered a Rush minion for the purposes of this sidequest?
No, I don't think so.
It's like cards that refer to "Deathrattle minions". They have to be cards that have a deathrattle intrinsically.
very good, judging by the votes ppl are sleeping on this card...free 4/4 in a rush archetype? VALUE
