This is a huge replacement or addition for claw in any deck that wants to use claw. Virtually free to complete (easier and more consistent than other sidequests anyway) and gives you up to 6 versions of a card that you can only run 2 of in your deck. There might not be such deck right now but this means nothing. This card is virtually staple in its archetype if it ever exists. And honestly it doesn't look that bad in a vaccum, druids float a lot of mana and this is a decent value, cheap removal and armor can't hurt your win rate.
+ someone somewhere will figure out a combo with gonk and this card will help because sometime you have to use your claws to stay in the game. Remember 2 gonks on the board add up, you kill 1 minion with your hero, you get 2 more hits.
Even without sidequest this would meh. 4 mana for +6+/6 on the hero would probably still not see play.
But hey! Gonk Memes.
While I agree the card is meh, a fireball that gains 6 armor would definitely see play. Essentially it would be paying one more mana for double the effect of bash, and bash saw some play. But it would actually be even better in Druid because single target removal.
Well, it's not going to a part of most Druid decks but I'm sure there will be a deck or two somewhere that will take advantage of it. Six damage, six armor and three spells is probably going to work in some type of deck. And there might be synergy with an unrevealed card.

Dependable loan sharks since 1960. We sink our teeth into every deal we make.
Alone, this card isn't great, but in any meta where druid wants to use Gadgetzan Auctioneer it will be very powerful as a draw enabler. As every historic druid deck that relies on the auctioneer has been absolute degenerate cancer (e.g. Jade, mill, ets), this means that this card will either be completely absent from the meta or meta-defining in the engine it enables.
