Thanks for keeping an eye out. We already knew about that one, its hero power is add a random priest minion to your hand. But valiant effort keep on soldier.
I don't feel like I'm sold on this card due to the fact that Priest minion often require some rather specific synergy to make use of.
Thinking about it, the battle cry is really only truly good when you're in a losing position. Isn't that also too specific for a card that you wanna slap down and gain benefit out of its hero power? This feels like a Shadowreaper Anduin's battlecry and maybe a 5/2 weapon in addition, slapped onto a less powerful hero power.
We actually included this card within our BlizzCon opening day article yesterday, but missed the forum thread! Thanks for catching it!
I edited a few minor details to keep it consistent with the other reveal forum threads, including replacing your picture as the text wasn't in English.
Destroy 4 minions, equip a 5/2 weapon and gain 5 armor for 7 mana is really serious board control, and the hero power generates a lot of value compared to rogue and warlock Galakronds. 1/1 lackeys and imps this late in the game won't be as impactful as they seem especially since we have to set up Galakrond with low tempo cards.
Not sold on this one. Destroy 4 random enemy minions is fine, but pretty trash relative to what rogue's galakrond does fully upgraded. A lot of the times that's just not going to cut it. Random priest minions just aren't going to out value Dr. Boom, or pocket galaxy, or elise combos, or any other late game cards I can think of. Worst out of the three we've seen imo.
Priests "Galakrond Invoke" is good but not broken, it is still random priest minions, could end up with wrong minions that you can't utilize. you can't build around this invoke effect, it is just a RNG Fiesta. And also all the invoke minions/spells will generate more minions to your hand. you might get hand issues too.
Destroying up to 4 minions is pretty strong for being a battlecry, will struggle against token decks that can generate multiply minions
I don't think this card is going to make the meta. Just because of the fact you get random minions. Even if the hero power would have cost 0 mana, it's too RNG related to be constructed.
Priest control decks are built around powerful board clears and powerful minions to finish the game. I would say this card fits into ctrl mentality pretty well.
I'm pretty sure this card actually will see play in the upcoming meta with a new control priest deck, but more for it being an extremely powerful late game removal tool and less for the hero power.
Being able to kill 4 random enemy minions with no other restrictions (they don't have to have 5 or more attack like Shadowreaper Anduin), as well as equip a 5/2 weapon (which has never been a reliable option in Priest), just makes it a stupidly powerful removal tool at 7 mana.
The hero power isn't where the card shines (IMO), though it's not useless either. The priest Galakrond hero power generates more actual late game value than either of the revealed Rogue or Warlock versions. And while there are definitely a few duds that can be generated, most priest minions are pretty useful at any given time. In fact, going over the priest minions in standard currently, the only ones I really don't want to see are Northshire Cleric (no more heal hero power), Test Subject (probably), Lightwell and Quartz Elemental. Those minions would be pretty much duds. The rest of them range from acceptable to extremely good.
I can also see this being played in rez priest just for it's powerful removal utility, even if the hero power is counter-productive (you don't want to muddy the rez pool). Basically, once both Mass Res's have been played, the hero power becomes useful and that deck can always use more removal.
So yeah, I think we'll see Priest Galakronds running around in the upcoming meta. But, only time will tell.

Dr. Boom makes random minions, and that guy is a nightmare.
Granted, he also grants those minions Rush, but that's offset by the fact that he can only make a minion every few turns.
Infinite value is infinite value. I'm sure Galakrond, the Unspeakable will make decent, useful minions at least as often as Boom.

I think you make an excellent point here honestly. If you can generate even 2 reasonable minions with the hero power and drop Talanji on the board, it becomes a serious threat. That shouldn't be too difficult, especially with Invoke generating even more minions throughout the game for her to drop. I think Talanji has a real chance of seeing play in the next expansion. Pretty exciting.

His hero power is to destroy a random enemy creature, two and three
Sorry you're right :)
No, that's the battlecry and maxed galakrond is destroy 4, not 3
That is the text on the card and is 1, 2, 4 minions and third stage also equips a 5/2 claw.

Tekahn making them 4/4 interests me
Works well with Princess Talanji
Card might (hopefully) actually see some play.

this card is really good but if the control dragon priest idea doesnt work to well i dont think this card will carry the deck by itself
