This card might resurrect HL Dragon Mage for me, which I've always found a fun archetype. Who knows, maybe a full Dragon Mage might work. Excited for this card, and the art is beautiful.

"Malygos's" - such an obvious typo slipped in unnoticed?
That's not a typo. Since it's a proper name, Malygos' and Malygos's are both acceptable.
On the card: I like it a lot. The spells you get are so good it doesn't matter if you lose tempo or what. Might be the return of some variant of minion-mage.

Correct. Most Americans would add a syllable when pronouncing Malygos's, so it only makes sense to write it. Most style guides say that adding the s is correct. It is common practice to leave off the s after historical names (esp. Jesus) or when the name ends with a "z" sound (when it is less likely to be pronounced).

Oh, I wasn't aware of that. As a non-native speaker I'm not eligible to judge, but that double "s" looks artificial to me. Sorry for that off-topic.
I think I underestimated this card. If we get ways to get more copies of this then the potential of 2 or more fireballs is a very scary thought. Even if you don't get fireballs the other options are still good.
yea... we'll see, doubt it will be much of an issue unless mage gets some other really strong supportive cards. don't hold your breath.
Yeah, in a meta with aggro this is pretty slow, but against some more grindy matchups this card could single handedly win those matchups, and it's versatile to boot. A highlander mage with a control shell and some finishers in the back is looking like a real possibility.
This card has been unreal for me in my burn mage deck. Gives the extra punch you need against warriors and priests or clears pretty much any board, 3 mana for 4 cards is insane, 1 mana for 3 randoms is insane. And you can easily re-discover it from azure explorer because it's a mage dragon and with only 3 dragons in the mage class that happens quite often.

http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1332572-burn-dragon-mage here is the list i created initially and had lots of success leading up to rank 5 but it has been very susceptible to running out of cards if you don't get any card draw. I've made some tweaks here and there but it's mostly hilarious to be able to drop back to back pyroblasts for 6 mana if you draw amazing.

Can't wait to see how underwhelmed you are when you've taken a few 8-damage fireballs to the face.

IMO, Feels like a card that is played in almost every mage deck.
Added the tokens to our Database. They are linked in the first post. :)

Obviously very powerful when the effect triggers, but mage is going to need a several more Dragon synergies before this card is worth considering.
from a token standpoint pretty cool crafting it golden.
