With Hunter getting a few of these "after you use your Hero Power" cards, I wonder if there's going to be a card that allows them to use Hero Power more than once per turn.
if „cast“ means to activate the effect of the secret from the deck and not just „put“ the secret in play i think its pretty strong if you play only 2 copies of rat trap in your deck, turn 4 sunmon a 2/3 and 6/6 and deal 2 face damage is absurdly strong.
Great card, but, this card is useless in a secret hunter, 'cause it destroy a secret and zul'jin can't play that secret. I think that this card is awesome control card.
So if you get a hero power off, it draws a card(worth 1.5 mana) and plays the secret(worth 2 mana). And it combines those effects, so the effect's in total worth about 4 mana. Very strong if you can reliably get your hero power off with it.
Hm, I think Mad Scientist is still better. This can get interrupted, and being forced to use your hero power is a big deal.
A solid card, but maybe not quite good enough.
its prolly worse on curve but on a float turn where you can play it and hero power its better than mad scientist as the opponent cannot play around the tutor

Well yeah, but Mad Scientist isn't standard so... shrug
Decent card is decent. The fact that a secret only costs 2 means that you're drawing and playing it for that same 2 mana - so slight upside. Essentially, it's a 4 mana 2/3 with "draw and play a secret", that has more upside and value if it can stick around for more than a turn. Slightly above average cards tend not to see play in constructed - but they sometimes do.
I'm fairly positive the meaning of "cast" instead of "put" is that the card is tutoring a secret from your deck and then casting the secret into play. so on 4 you play this, hero power and end the turn with a secret in play. However, it is a secret that you have cast. So when you zul'jin that secret gets cast again b/c it was a spell you previously played. This card is thinning your deck and putting obstructions into play to hinder your opponent. It is cheap and reliable. I think this card is a serious contender based on the thinning/tutoring it enables. If it survives a turn then you get to thin 2 secrets from your deck that act as if you played them yourself. That seems incredibly powerful since it is also just a solid curve, and beast, play in hunter... seems very very solid to me
It's pretty good. It's just that I think Masked Contender is better, and Secret lists are very tight for space. I wish the powerful 1 drop that got revealed for Hunter was a beast then the decks could run Master's Call. But it'll serve a purpose once Subject 9 and Masked Contender rotates out, probably might be even better by then.
DISCUSS!
beast and have 3 health it is definetely good.
ill show them, ill show them allllll
River Crocolisk with an inspire effect that has secret synergy.
Sure, why not? Seems interesting for highlander secret build once Subject 9 leaves.

Inspire hunter confirmed.

not quite sure if it works that way

Maybe for an aggro version of Secret Hunter...?

This card is SUPER good. Have we not learned yet how valuable it is to cheat cards or of your deck? A turn 4 swing. 5/5
Even Hunter liiiiives

if it casts the secret, how it works with rat trap? it just summons the 6/6?, or it will only cast a card with the requirements meeting?
I say it because mad scientist says "put a secret from your deck into the battlefield"
Very good with premium statistics
Blizzard has a fetish with secrets because they are taking out many cards related to secrets this year

I think this card and Masked Contender should trigger Secretkeeper but of course it's not going to happen.
I want to try this card in Quest Hunter with the sidequest. It feels like it can be the missing link between Snake Trap / Rat Trap and Hyena Alpha
