That's a lot of overcosted cards to play to gain 3 coins that don't even make up for the cost. I'm guessing there is more synergy coming that will explain everything.

This synergizes with literally everything in the Rogue class.
It's basically a 1-mana 3/3 that gives you a handful of combo enablers.
And I shouldn't have to mention this, but: You don't have to play it on 4. You certainly don't treat it as a 4-drop when deckbuilding.

It's either a 1 mana 3/3 (in value yes, in tempo absolutely not), or a 4 mana combo enabler, can' t be both at the same time. And I never said I have to play it on curve, I never say that about any card actually.
And the whole "coin synergizes so well with rogue stuff" is kinda overrated and outdated if you ask me. Sure it's fine with the combo keyword and auctioneer type of cards. But the big 11+ mana combos with coins, they don't do so good anymore, because the game has so much more combo related legendaries than it used to. "why bother with coins and 8 cards combos when I can just Mecha'thun him out" is my point and that's what happened in the last years, very little care for the coin generators in combo decks, because coin combos are hard.

But invoke cards aren't even overcosted. You get a free Lackey on top of the effect of every one. That makes them worthwhile even if you aren't using Umbral Skulker.
The part about playing on curve wasn't really aimed at you. It's just a general statement that a lot of people have trouble remembering.

Really agree that this card could give tempo rogue the push it needs to Help those minions survive direct damage and trading. Not only that, but I’m excited to try miracle rogue again, and heck, maybe even malygos. Discounted cards from Galakrond and tons of coins certainly would make it possible again.

It's a fine card but feels a bit underwhelming for the condition, especially in comparison to the Warlock one which just is so much better.
This card is actually really good don't underestimate getting 3 coins but that fkn 3 mana rogue invoke card is so fkn bad.

Things can get out of hand with Shadowstep and Waggle Pick.

I think we are long past the point of coin being a good reward for rogue, that being said if you are running invoke why not use this
30/30 edwin incominggg!!!
Malygos shenanigans of course...
