Sweet, this seems to have the same idea behind it as C'thun. A free card that everyone gets, that makes for some really obvious (but not nessearly great) deckbuilding ideas, that newbies can experiment with. C'thun was great because of this, and got a lot of people that were intimidated into the game.
the hero power is add a random lackey to your hand.
Which, coupled with Invoke cards procc'ing your hero power, there could be some value shenanigans to be had. Clearly though this new deck will have Shadowstep so you can already guess how it'll be built, obviously excluding new invoke cards. My interest is piqued, it seems they've figured out how to make an Inspire-ish mechanic not a complete dumpster fire.

If you thought you knew what you think I know, then you'd know I knew you knew I know.
This is super strong. Rogue can now curve higher for deck mana cost just with this and still keep up tempo. Also invoke seems to add a minion to your hand or directly to battlefield?
Pretty good in curve but it is almost the same with shaman to generate lackeys. His battlecry is very strong since you only need to invoke 4 times to improve it. The bad thing is that incompatible with the Rogue Quest because the hero's power changes you.
Unlike cthun you only need to play 4 subpar cards to get good value out of him though. Tough to analyze without seeing other invoke cards and the new hero power
Unlike C'thun he also "peaks". The 4 subpar cards give you a BIG upgrade. Unlike C'thun who just keeps stacking damage sort of frivolously.
C'thun without upgrades is also way worse and a lot more expensive.
Imagine drawing this from king togwaggle treasure along with edwin... 3 mana, draw 7 cards which cost 0, play a bunch of stuff for 0, then get a 16/16 edwin, 5 armor, a new hero power, and a 5/2 weapon
I need to check, but you could be right on that.
Clear as mud, this one... lol
Will update properly when I know for sure.
Anyone know if galakrond will activate in hand dragon effects?
Take a look at my most recent deck, Watch post, totem, menagerie shaman.
Remember each hero for the villains will have a different battle cry and hero power this version of him is only for rogue
the hero power is add a random lackey to your hand.

for 7 mana you will have too much immediate value but upgrading it will be hard tho invoke cards might be too weak.

Yeah, this is going to be good.
The Hero Power change is "2 mana : add a lackey to your hand"
Better than priest
Actually no since we don't know the hero power
I think every galakrond cards is pretty good for every EVIL league classes. Different card effect and skills.
Priest's Galakrond hero power: add a random priest minion to you hand - is that true??
upgraded cards and hero power are shown on this page

Yes sadly
