It's not whether this card is good or not, it's that there are more important things (at this point) in that mana slot. We need a good 4 drop for druids so we can stop using archaic cards like Yeti and Dingo. At 5, you need to be either playing taunted bear or belcher vs aggro, or spectral knight vs priest or other control. Those are bigtime cards. There are many times in these scenarios that a straight 7/7 with no abilities will just lose you the game. We will see if other cards make this one viable.
I've utilized mukla in a mill deck. Overall he was a useful addition. Though if your opponent does have a significant board presence he will probably just die next turn. But I could hypothetically turn 2 clear board with wrath or some minion -> turn 3 mukla -----> If he survives turn 4 druid of the fang,Yayyy. If he doesn't survive shed a single tear and move on with your 4/4 for 5. :( .
It's not good enough to build a deck that caters to it, enough said. Even if Druid of the Claw forms become beast it won't make the cut. You'd have to make a deck built around neutral Beasts.

Finally I can make that neutral beast druid deck. I've been planning for it for the longest time. :D
I read the thread and I agree with those saying the biggest problem is that the 5 mana slot is the busiest. I play mostly druid and blizz will have to give me a darn good reason among unrevealed cards to run this... Really, the 5 mana slot is the hardest to pick in my druid deck atm...
I don't really like the idea of giving druids' shapeshifting forms Beast tags in general (Druid of the Claw). They're still humanoids... just transformed by self will.
Actually in WoW druids when in animal forms can be effected by beast only spells such as "Scare Beast", so them not being already classed as beasts is really incorrect.
So here's a thought. Perhaps a midrange Druid will emerge? If the Chicken created by the Gnomish Experimenter is in fact a 1/1 0 mana chicken... then you actuallyuse the chicken the Experimenter produces to force a transformation from this guy. Turn 5 7/7 sounds nice even if it costs a minion becoming a chicken.

Pretty sure Ben Brode said on Twotter it'll be a 1 mana 1/1 chicken. Not 100% sure though, just what i've read.
What if the new Druid legendary is a Beast?

Isn't Malorne a god though? I doubt that Blizz would make him a Beast since Cenarius and the Ancients aren't Beasts.

This might be irrelevant for this card but the transformed 7/7 would most likely be a viper(beast)

Kill command has the same card text. I don't think anyone will be confused with the wording on the new one.
Check out my motorcycle blog at ShiftHer.com ...or not.

Current Standard Deck:
I think this is a weird card i have never seen a beast druid on the ladder so i wouldn't expect to see this card too much

I think that a new druid class would be awesome, shake up the meta. Subscribed to your youtube btw.

Boar + this seems like a pretty cheap 7/7 charge...
Add savage roar when you have some minions on board and it seems like a strong finisher?
Just my 2 cents
The boar isn't the one that transforms >_>
Oh, well that's pretty crappy then xD
Just my 2 cents
In WoW when druid transform into cat or bear they're considered animals and cannot be affected by polymorphs and stuff working on humanoids.
Why can't we have our 5 drop druids be beasts aswell?
7/7 stonetusk boar incoming to your face!
buffing 1 mana stonetusk boar to 7/7 is much better than buffing 5 mana druids to 7/7! So even druid of the claw is beast, I won't buff it!
