As the title suggest, what do you guys think of Siamat so far and do you feel he is or will become an auto craft, similar to how Zilliax became an auto craft from boomsday? I'm thinking about crafting him, I keep seeing Siamat pop up in lists and he seems strong and fun.
I think his power level is similar to Zilliax. I expect to see him in many decks going forward, especially considering that there aren’t many strong 7 drops in neutral.
He's a solid neutral legendary, definitely a good craft, although not a crucial inclusion in most decks - that is to say that you can find alternatives, although not as strong.
I have found him to be very good. The thing is, he's very underwhelming considering I thought he would be an insta-craft. Currently, 48 hours into the expansion, I don't think he's a must have. Needless to say, I think he shines in singleton decks. That's about it so far.

Ah yeah, that's a good point. I am curious how singleton decks will play out. I hear the mage and hunter decks are pretty good so far.
A very powerful card and very powerful in the Shudderwock Battlecry Quest Shaman decks. Some classes without a good 7, 8 or 9 drop will surely want to put this in their deck.
As someone else said, this is a 'safe' craft, but not a 'auto' craft. It does not fit in every deck. Control Warrior doesn't need a card like this. They have better effects from Boom Hero card and Mechs gaining rush. Quest Druid doesn't have the space. Rogue doesn't really want to spend 7 mana on a minion and they can do better things than this card.
I do think Control/Plot Twist Warlock can use it as another removal tool.
So it's a card I would craft if you have extra dust lying around and you play the decks this card fits into. If you are playing Zoo Warlock, this card is pointless to you.
I crafted Siamat on day 1 and i'm very happy with it.
I have played him in both decks I have been trying out, Quest Palladin and Secret Reno Hunter and so far he is Dr. 7. Almost always played it on turn 7 when I had it in hand.
Not a must card but a good inclusion in almost any deck.

Thoughts?
Hi my dood.
I was blessed by the rng gods and got him golden as my pre order card.

Check out my fun and innovative decks here:
Beat your opponent to a pulp with Revenant Warrior or outlast them with Demon Reno Warlock.

I don't think about "auto-craft", but certainly "safe-craft".
I'm sorry for my bad english :D

Overrated, but if you get him from a pack i'd keep him.
Those who are given more in life, must not cling to it, but risk it all at every moment!

There is just one "auto craft" for me in SoU and that's: Zephrys the Great
Great in standard and in wild ;-)
I think without the Magnetic tag and without Lifesteal he's a bit more balanced than Zilliax.
