Self damage Warrior love but its again not good enough.
Screw warrior. This is for priest. 2/4 for 2 mana is the dream statline for a priest card. It's so good it had to be conditional with Wyrmrest Agent. It also damages your stuff so you can be healing and working toward your quest as well. Even if your not playing the quest its a very strong anti-aggro body.
This is a strong card, far more than it appears. The stats are premium as a 2 drop. If you don't have a turn 1 play (because you played a quest), this HAS NO DOWNSIDE?!?!?!
This is possibly a sleeper power house. Control can use this to control the board early. Aggro decks like Zoo can play this and get favorable trades.
The random damage is not an issue and as others have said CAN benefit you in many different decks.
Just don't give this minion Poisonous, then you might feel pretty stupid.
Sleeper power house lmao. It's just a 2 mana 2/4. Even if it didn't have any downside, very few decks would want to play that. It's not incredibly better than a river crocolisk.

What do you normally do on turn 2? Do you play 2 mana minions? Use your Hero Power? What are your 2 mana minion stats? 3/2 or 2/3? Do you skip turn 2?
I can trade into your 2 drop and still have a minion on board. I can potentially trade into 2 of your minions, giving me a 2 for one. If I am a Priest, I can heal this and fight for the board.
Maybe it turns out to be trash and no one plays it. That's a possibility. But how many 1 or 2 drops have 4 attack in Standard? It means your early plays get wasted or traded into and it means you have to use more resources.
It's far better than Crocolisk because of the 4 health. Think about all the games you play and what your turn 2 looks like. And this is on the other side.
I will concede though, if the meta game has too many 2/3 minions, then this is not as good and will not see play. But this card counters aggro decks nicely for many different classes.

If you play it on 2, you may get a 2-for-1, or more likely a 1.5-for-1. but it severely restricts your turn 3 plays if your opponent gives you no way to kill it off. Honestly, I don't see a lot of people giving you the trades you're hoping for when this guy actively erodes your tempo for them.
You also have to consider how exceptionally bad it is in the late game -- so much worse than your average 2-drop -- at a time when the stakes are high and big minions often find themselves clinging to life by the thread of 1 health.

I agree for the most part, but as a Priest you are only looking to get to your board clears and late game. There is a new spell which completely negates this downside.
While this has counter synergy with Reborn minions (being at 1 Health), you can play the new AOE spell that heals all your minions while damaging your opponents minions.
Priest is not typically looking to build a big board to fight against other decks. They want some early plays to slow you down. That's it. Then when you over commit they punish you and then Priest takes over.
If Priest CAN stick a minion and constantly heal it up though and build a board, most other non control decks lose at that point. I think this card can help get to the mid and late game for Priest.

I love the flavor.

Well in that case one of your minions
Dont spit on me, you silly camel!

Why this is neutral? Only warrior will find a use to that...
nice flavour :D
The fact that Camel can damage your turn 1 Northshire Cleric allowing you to heal it is money. Not to mention Camel itself is huge as a 2/4.
Can't wait to see the animation does it spit on your minions hahaha
that stats make me want to say its worth it honestly. a 2/4 for 2 with a middling negative effect in the early game have proven to be valuable.
This into Acolyte of Pain in curve!
But I think there is too little synergy like that

Clearly, meme-meta defining. 5 stars.
one keeps forgetting that you can put just this minion on the board as a big minion for a big 2/4 body
