I love that Hearthstone really embraces that it's a digital game, cards like this is what the entire engine enables. Also it seems really powerful. Day 1 craft for sure.
You can play it on curve and spend turn 3 ramping against warrior.
I truly hope these decks will find their place because they bring something new and interesting into the game... But I'm kinda scared that there will be one or two already existing deck that will kill most of the new ones. Let's hope that won't happen. Lots of new archetypes seem to be showing up, should be a fun time for at least a few weeks.
This turn 7 against a big board of giants will almost always guarantee Brawl. If your opponent have many x/2 it will probably give you Blizzard or Holy Nova. Turn 9 almost guaranteed a Flamestrike. If your opponent's board is empty you either get a good pro-active play for next turn or a value card. Play this turn 8 get an Ysera for 9. Late in the game and your opponent is at 10 life or less? Gives you a Pyroblast.
It has a battlecry that allows the player to discover a 'wishful' card. The discover options include all of the classic and basic sets. It is decided what options you have based on the board state. There are many different buckets including 'board clears', 'single target', 'value generation', 'tempo', and even 'tech cards'. It prefers cards you can play this turn (example given: Mad Scientist upon an opposing Doomsayer or Flamestrike to kill your opponents prepared board). I believe this can be at a powerful enough impact to obtain 'hard scenario' cards like Edwin Van Cleef and Archmage Antonidas.
I think this card is the reason you run a singleton deck and not necessarily the LoE.
If I understand right, its designed to most likely give you usefull solution to the next turn after you play it, which means that in most situations its 2 mana 3-2 body + do nothing this turn. That entirely change perspective on this card and how you should play it.
For me its kazakus little brother with much less impact and versatility, ofc can be usefull but nothing spectacular. Mainly control mage card I believe.
There is only one problem with this card.
Bomb

100% getting this card, one way or the other.

This card is amazing.
Hearthstone RNG is not rigged. At all. Yeah. XD
Yeah, just enough to kill control warrior as well XD
If many people are playing it, playing a deck that shuffles duplicates into their deck
Just basic or classic cards.
Take a look at my card creations here in vojza's mini expansion topic.

Yes, there are tech cards against that. Some wild bomb warrior can arise, too.
Figured I should give this a proper rundown of what we have been told:
Zephrys the Great first needs your deck to not have duplicates.

Ridiculous in wild , standard on the other hand meh.
Singleton Decks in Standard are just too weak , not enough support and the power level of the legendaries are not that great.
