The thing i don't like about the quests is how straight up different power levels they are, with un'goro all the quests were just about the same power level(an argument could be made about warlock or paladin), but these quests are not like that at all. The warlock quest you need to draw 20 cards to get the benefit for it and yes i know plot twist is a card that exists but honestly it's a big meme, you'd have to play a complete control deck to get the quest done, and by the time you get the quest done and you have the hero power so what if you can turn any card into a 2 mana cost, it doesn't do anything. Warrior quest summons a 4/3 which is easily out valued and tempoed just by lackeys, priest OP, Rogue not exactly OP but it's easy AF to complete, druid easy to complete, i don't understand the thought process of the quests at all.
Much play testing went into designing these cards. You act like they just threw some numbers in a hat and pulled them out to assign values.
Simply no faith in the HS team, but here you are on their fansite doubting them.
People are always so quick to judge cards good or bad without much thought at all.
I'm not trying to single you out but I picked the best example. Happened to be yours.
How good is equipping a 3/2 weapon every couple of turns that gives you immune?
How bad is draw a card it costs 0?
Until you're playing them we can only guess.
How good is rogue having a fiery war axe every turn that can go face? Hmmmmm guess we'll just have to wait and see, there's no way we can tell how that will be right now.

Those who are given more in life, must not cling to it, but risk it all at every moment!
My only problem with the quest is just how ridiculously easy it is to complete. I just feel like adding 4 cards from other classes is just a really easy condition to meet. Honestly, the only time a rogue will have a hard time completing the quest is when they're playing against another rogue.
That being said, I'm not certain how oppressive this card will be. The power is undeniable. An extra 3 damage every turn or 6 damage total spread out for 2 mana...yeah, sounds pretty good. Obviously weapon buffs will scale outrageously with it but will that put it into the realm of overpowered? It doesn't seem like it will be nearly as problematic as old quest rogue. I'd argue it's 'Very Good' because it is but I don't think it's brokenly OP by any means.
This is NOT a control rogue tool, blizzard hates the idea of control rogue, this is an aggro rogue tool to slot in to the burgle lackey rogue deck without even thinking about it.

Warlock quest is for plot twist builds.. so use 1 plot twist by turn 5-6 thats what 16-18 cards drawn depending...?
What would you rather play on turn 4 as warlock with an almost full hand, plot twist? or mountain giant/drake
I would rather wait for the appropriate setup before playing Plot Twist, which will give me a board full of Reborn Rushers and make half of my remaining deck cost 2 mana. If there's something I need to remove early in the game, I have plenty of tools for that because I'm a friggin' Warlock.
Was this a trick question?

I don't think this is going to be as game breaking as people think. In wild caverns below is likely better. In standard there just aren't that many cards to complete this win condition. Anyone who regularly plays vendetta will tell you there are times it just won't activate, and for that you only need one other class card.
it will be super dependent on mulligan, which is my least favourite type of deck to play with or against.
I've seen a few comments from people saying that this isn't that good because there's already Spectral Cutlass. And all I can think is... how can you think Spectral Cutlass is better than this?
Spectral Cutlass is decent when it has its attack buffed, when you play a fair few out-of-class cards to buff the durability, and when the opponent doesn't play weapon removal (which I have to imagine is still going to be around in the new meta). Cutlass is very underwhelming if your opponent runs weapon removal; I've seen thief rogue decks pretty much lose on the back of it.
The quest, however, is consistently a 3/2 with pseudo-lifesteal in that it provides Immune, and while it costs 1 mana for every attack (2 mana = 2 durability), it's basically immune to weapon removal by virtue of being a hero power (2 mana gets you the weapon straight back, complete with 2 durability).
I'll agree that in a meta where weapon removal isn't being run, Cutlass is better most of the time in a deck with a lot of thief dedication. In every other world - including the one we're in - the quest is better.
I dont think people realize how diffucult in Terms of standard viability this quest realy is. Besides from gimmicky cutlass Decks the good rogue Decks dont run that many steal cards becauae there are Not that many good ones. This is pretty slow might see Testing until people realize that plane tempo Decks Are Just stronger.
All rogues will play this card because there is really no reason not to play it because everyone has a generation of value from another class apart two more attack permanently is very good.
As a very experienced Thief Rogue player who only plays her and ranked from rank 20 to legend, I’m so fucking disappointed😂 I was waiting for the Thief Rogue quest for days and here it is, with a weapon hero power reword.
Why would you want a Weapon Hero Power reward when the core and the main win condition of your deck is Spectral Cutlass? You might say it’s way easier to complete this quest than upgrade your Spectral Cutlass early, which is bullshit, because turn 4 cutlass is a common and a pretty strong play for Thief Rogue, as a set up for Grinskin.
The only use for this quest that I see is to bait Warriors to use weapon projects and Harrison earlier, however why would they do that? 3/2 weapon is not that strong after all🤷🏼♂️😩
If I don’t understand why this quest and it’s reward are good then please explain.

The thing that comes to mind most easily is that this Quest is a single card, draws at the beginning of the game, and is very, very easy to complete.
Don't look at it as a direct competitor to your win con; look at it as a consistency boost. Sometimes you'll lose both Cutlasses, but you can never run out of these. Sometimes a Cutlass won't Lifesteal as much as you wanted it to and you'll start to fall behind the health race, but these give Immune.
In other words, see this as a very easy little package to insert into your deck to improve its weapons package, draw consistency, and removal tools along with adding a persistent face damage threat.
It's a good enough addition to any deck that I don't think it will cannibalize any of your synergies, and it's likely just worth adding for its contribution alone, even if it doesn't amplify any of your other synergies.
This is a well balanced card in my personal opinion. If rogue will be one of the most used classes in the new meta this quest will be difficult to complete because only hench-clan in standard gives you cards of another class and not from your opponent's class (well stolen stell too but it's anti-synergic) . I think shaman quest it's the easiest to complete with almost every cheap murloc and all lakeys havin a battlecry and the reward is double battlecry that can make them a lot of damage only when played with for example lakey, lifedrinker and new wasp.
I am not sure that this is broken in standard as it looks like. It requires serious testing. For me it is one of those cards that can be either meta-defining or dust. A lot depends on what (if any) add cards from another class rogue will get.
Still crafting this day 1 because something I play like 25% of my games is wild burgle rogue. It will be fun to try to integrate that in that deck.
Count my vote towards this being far better than Spectral Cutlass.

I’m crafting this day one, it’s what my RogueNG deck needed.

It will be nerfed very-very soon after release. And i'm do not mean Soon (tm) soon.
It is pure meta-defining cancer.
warrior quest much stronger

When they said they wanted to make Quests easier to complete, I didn't think it would be this much faceroll
All rogues will play this card because there is really no reason not to play it because everyone has a generation of value from another class apart two more attack permanently is very good.
So as for now only druid quest seems to be kinda bad, unless they show one more very good 'choose one' card
This make Blade Flurry viable again. You won't destroy Spectral Cutlass for Blade Flurry.

I'm surprised it took me this long to realize it, but this card gives Bazaar Mugger some purpose.
