it's garbage, and I really hate that. I expect something about give value and card advantage, like priest has ever done very well in the history... But nothing... Zoo, shitty, awful design card.
You can spend 16 Mana on 8 Heropowers over 8 turns while actually doing a thing that's extremely negative for yourself. I'll be so happy if a priest actually does this against me. And gratefully bash their face in while they completely throw away the game.
Or you can spend 6 mana on Zilliax and Embalming Ritual and restore 12 health. Add in a 0 cost Regenerate and the quest is complete for less than half of what you proposed. 15 health across minions and hero in a class that is focused on healing and reborn mechanics is going to be much easier than everyone thinks.
Only if sb did 12 damage before.
So the best counter to this strategy is to not do damage to priest?
But, the Priest one also HEALS FOR 3, there is no restriction on the minion type it can buff, in other words, there is no comparison to Dinomancy, Obelisk's Eye is far and away better.
Does this mean restore 15 health to anything, or only to your hero? I could see this being completed very fast with circle and potion vendor if it's the former. The effect is stupidly powerful, it's just a question of whether it's hero only or not. You'd be able to play around it so easily, just like old battle rage warrior where you never hit face.
This card is good and not only for zoo priest (which isn’t even a thing). In control you usually don’t play any card on turn 1, and upgrading your hero power after few turns without any effort is a good reward. Restoring 3 health to your hero is good and giving minions +3/+3~6 is excellent. I don’t see why not use it in every control deck
I like to have written record of these predictions so I can gleefully "I told you so" later.
At least in terms of the cards we can see right now, I don't see this going anywhere.
It is a HUGE thing to restore 15 health in a timely manner. I don't really think anyone here is giving the difficulty of that condition enough respect.
Maybe the reborn mechanic will be bigger, and maybe there will be something in the unrevealed priest cards, but as it stands now, I predict this will be a t3 at best.
You know if you throw enough stuff at a wall eventually some of us going to stick
But, the Priest one also HEALS FOR 3, there is no restriction on the minion type it can buff, in other words, there is no comparison to Dinomancy, Obelisk's Eye is far and away better.
You don't need to tell me that this hero power is better than what Dinomancy gives. I am not a moron. All I am saying that hearthpwners overestimate how good the reward is for all the effort necessary and -1 card at the start of the game.
Dinomancy's problem was the tempo loss and actually getting it going.
This is a priest quest, it doesn't have either of those problems.
Zoo decks really don't want to skip turn 1, especially the ones with Grandmummy and Extra Arms. Maybe it could go into a more midrange priest, the kind that wants to turn 3 blademaster into turn 4 Psychopomp.
The problem is the loss of card. Unless you don't have another play, there's no incentive to play this on turn 1 until you're ready to actually heal something.
I don't think that restoring 15 Health is that hard. Considering also that Priest has access to mass healing spells such as Circle of Healing, Holy Nova and Divine Hymn as well as making use of minions that damage themselves (Injured Blademaster and Damaged Stegotron), Reborn minions as well as Lifesteal minions, it shouldn't be too hard to consistently restore 15 Health relatively quickly in a game. In addition to that you can use your Hero Power and make use of the traditional card draw engine of priest with Northshire Cleric + Wild Pyromancer + Circle of Healing to both advance the quest and keep you hand relatively full. In fact, I think this is one of the easier quests to complete considering that many of the cards you would need for the quest have seen widespread play in Priest throughout the history of the game.
And I think that there is no denying the power level of the upgraded Hero Power is strictly better than the base Hero Power, without even considering the minion buff part. Imho, the only way this doesn't see play is if there is no Priest deck above Tier 4.
Priest already has ways to buff its entire deck, and nobody does that. I don't see the deck slot sacrifices and tempo loss you need to take for this to work being worth it, even for that reward. An aggro meta kills you before you get to use the reward, and control kills your buffed minions with 10 damage mechs and brawls.

I think thus might be decent for Control Priest. Other than that this wont See play.

Not sure about that one , seems a bit slow i agree. Might change my opinion soon enough.
Maybe odd priest will become a thing. Will be fun to try it...
Worst quest so far.
quote fail :(

Damn, I would like that hero power for my deck, but the requirement for quest is just too hard for my deck.

Awesome! I like the deck this promotes. Priest controlling the board with minions instead of stupidly OP AOE. Will we see the day?

Blizzard take my fucking dust NOW, I can't wait till 6th August to play with this card.

ZOO PRIEST but more midrange orientaded

i’m not hero powering 8 times to get this to work so unless there are more ways and things to heal this isn’t happening.
