Rogue doesn't generally win with big minions. Unless there's some Deathrattle/Reborn synergy which allow to control the game, I don't see this card working.
Shuffle Rogue is fun, but it will never be a competetively viable deck, as long as Rogue doesn't have any great control tools. Now Rogue even lost Vanish, their only kind of boardclear.
Faldorei Strider was good because it at least put a 4/4 on the board immediately. This does absolutely nothing the turn it is played. So it's essentially Tempo Suicide for later value, which Rogue generally can't afford.
great value, not so much tempo though. But then there can be a tempo boost when the shadows are drawn. Good for deathrattles, or generally good statted minions. maybe such as damaged stegadon since they summon without the battlecry. Also generally getting a taunt minion or rush minion like this is usefull for immediate inpact.
We might even be returning to a sort of "Leeroy Jenkins-Shadowstep" era now, just need to figure out how to survive and have the right amount of combo cards in the deck to not clog the hand too much. Maybe one copy of this card will be enough.
I'm pretty sure this would have never been made if Preparation hadn't been nerfed, so I'm glad they did.

I'm pretty sure this would have never been made as a 4 mana spell if Preparation hadn't been nerfed, so I'm glad they did.
Realistically, it's a 4-mana play that reads, "You just spent 4-mana." Imagine if Fal'dorei Strider were nerfed so that you didn't get the 4/4 body when you played it - how good would the three cards shuffled into the deck have to be in order for FS to continue seeing play? Whatever that answer is, this card is worse, since FS simply shuffles those cards directly into your deck - Shadow of Death requires a target already in play. What if you never draw and play that target?
Clearly, the upside is potentially great - I imagine there will be some kind of OTKish combos with Malygos - but that upside also seems unfeasibly inconsistent and slow.
Probably won't work out. I'm not buying any kind of value route for rogue but a burst combo with Leeroy could maaaybe work. Leeroy - Shadow of Death Next turn Myra's Unstable Element gives you 18 dmg in burst. But whether you'll run it specifically for that combo... It's a pretty dead card until then for an aggro rogue.
The real question is do the shadows also Draw a Card Like Bomb etc.? If so i can see this having Potential. But its far from obvious op or Meta defining imo.
You aren’t playing this unless you’re doing some kind of stupid combo with it like with Leeroy. You would have been able to cast this on Malygos but you can’t anymore with the Preparation nerf. That would have been sick. Draw your whole deck with Myra’s, Shuffle in 3 dragons and next turn shoot them with 2 spells with +15 Spell damage.

It might see play in miracle rogue, other than that is just a worse faldorei.
Combo potential with malygos.
So many awesome cards, I'm getting really pumped for the release.
Combo with Deathrattle or Aura Cards . Noice.

Get ready for triple Leeroy in one turn.

Looks good, won't work.

All in all: same thing as Academic Espionage.

Notice that it doesn't say "A friendly minion." You can use it to steal the opposition's legendaries as well.
A thing of beauty. This have a LOT of potential.

Reason they nerf Preparation kappa. Malygos+Prep+This now costs 11.
