Not sure what kind of minions Priest will want to use this on though.
First Synergy that comes to mind is Deathrattles, but there aren't many good Deathrattles in Standard currently.
Just for the fun of it maybe Coffin Crasher into Anubisath Warbringer + Embalming = +6/+6 for your whole hand. Seems good, but also probably way too slow.
Redemption would be stronger if you could control it's effect, and this card is insanely good because of that reason, you control which minion comes back.
Underbelly Ooze + Divine Spirit + Embalming, season with Inner Fire if desired.
Underbelly Ooze is a "Summon a copy" effect, so each copy should get both the enhanced health and the Reborn tag. Ergo, you'll get a board full of 3/X Oozes with at least one 3/1 token hiding inside of them that can be healed for more cringe-inducing minion value.
Quite possibly the (Metaphorically and literally) stickiest board in Hearthstone you can make, assuming you've played deep into the game and your opponent has burnt all of their Silences on your Cairnes, Zereks (Note: Zerek should clone itself, leave a 5/1, and potentially create another 5/5 from the Reborn's second death if it carries the "spell casted" attribute, which it should as this spell adds the Reborn keyword to its copy and thus alters the card; this works similarly with Cairne), and Splitting Festerroots (Hey listen, that's a lotta stats for 9 Mana. Listen. Look, it'd be cool).
Now, would you build a deck around that combo? No, but it uses Priest staples and would slot easily into a minion-heavy Priest deck, so let me say: a vicious meme in the making.
Ok so how is this card different from Desperate Stand? Why are they keep making their cards so inconsistent? They are making the game more and more confusing.
It's different because it costs less and is in a different, notably Deathrattle-oriented, class now. Priest also has massive synergy with low cost spells.
Bear in mind, the entire Reborn keyword is just Desperate Stand's effect, so that criticism applies to the entire expansion. That aside, I think Reborn is an interesting concept and fits with the Mummy theme nice.

Same but different, you can give Desperate Stand to a reborn minion and will summon 2 exact copies, but you cant use Embalming Ritual on a reborn minion.
Card seems good enough, 1 mana, just what Obsidian Statue needs.

putting this in my test subject deck
As a priest player, I'm pretty stoked about this. Incredibly flexible.
0/10 - Not enough Imps.
Another excuse to use Skulking Geist in addition to countering the upcoming armor combo druid :P
Desperate Stand Powercreeped.
I want to put it on my deck Nomi Priest with jungle adventurers
I'm still not sure how strong the reborn mechanic will be but one mana is clearly a bargain.
Dependable loan sharks since 1960. We sink our teeth into every deal we make.
Grandmummy + Embalming + Grandmummy + Embalming plz just stop it ^_^
Interesting.

Leeroy - Embalming - Holy Smite - Embalming - Holy Smite = 18 damage ? Does it work this way?
works with zerek and cloning gallery
This is a fucking annoying card.
My current mage deck (wild,reno,otk,highlander)
