Probably will try using this in a High Priest deck. Good play for In instances of coining with Northshire Cleric T1 if no PWS in hand, good low cost minion to get down to protect High Priest on another cheap minion say another lackey or grand mummy and get the health boost. Seems pretty flexible in such a deck.
Edit: just seeing it’s a token. Still decent to get using Lackeys in High Priest.
Strong! If every class could play power word: shield (and a free 1/1), of course they would. I think PW:S is a fair comparison since the lackey is generated rather than using an actual card.
in no way is this similar to PWS. PWS is good because it cycles through your deck while also adding health. Draw has always been a problem for priest which made pws amazing for drawing into its answers. This lackey is not as good as the others but its still very good.
Seems on par with Witchy Lackey which is the weakest of the Lackeys so this probably brings down the power of lackeys very slightly but not enough to change anything.
This is better than witchy lackey because sometimes you couldn't play it because you didn't want to evolve a minion or it created friction. Most notable when you only had a shark in play and wanted to play togwaggle and a lackey.
It can be good when you play a more conrolish deck and is also helpful in agro v agro games were it will protect your face or help you make trades for example your 3/3 can now value trade their 3/3 in rogue mirrors.
A lot of people don't understand how good an efficient taunt us for protecting your own board. Situationally this can be extremely amazing because it allows you to control trades or forces a bad trade on the other side or even go face an extra time because your now high health taunt is protecting your board.

I think we all know voidwalker is amazing. But that card doesn't require you to have a board. It's better than this in most cases.
And lackeys are generally better than a good onedrop.
Kobold, goblin, and ethereal al take an effect that is worth 1 mana and add a 1/1 body to it. (Arcane Shot, Charge and +1 attack, Raven Idol/ Hallucination. Faceless does the same since a random 2 drop is worth about one mana as well, probably more.
Witchy lacky takes a 0 mana spell and adds a 1/1 to it. There is a reason that is the worst lacky.
And guess what, this does the same. The closest thing to this effect is Ancestral Healing. Sometimes this effect is better, sometimes ancestral healing is better. Depending on the damage the targeted minion has already taken.
And if you say "well, at least ancestral healing saw play, charge didn't." That card never saw play until very recently. Who knows if charge would see play if it also gave +1 attack. It very well might.
Of course this effect is good. But it does worsen the pool, which is all that really matters with lackeys.
Will 100% see play. Will be in all the top tier decks. Might be time to call for a pre-nerf. Ha! This is damned good though.
You do realize there is no "choice" and you don't get to "decide" if it will see play, it gets added to the pool of other lackeys to draw. It's RNG and Lackeys aren't cards you "own per se" they are token cards generated from a base card. Thanks for your "Expert" analysis though, lol.
Its really strong actually but it will be the worst lackey to get because it offers very little tempo while all decks using lackeys are tempo oriented. Zoo doesnt want this, Rogue doesnt want this. It will make some trades better but I dont know. If priest can get a Zoo deck with lackeys it will be a top 3 lackey there.
The more lackeys they release, the weaker the mechanic will get actually. Even if all of them happen to be good picks.
The truth is: currently, each archetype and each matchup has its own highrolls when it comes to lackey pool.
There are so many aggro mirrors where if your opponent manages to protect their one/two drop with the right lackey they simply snowball throughout the match (see Tidecaller or Underbelly Angler in Murloc Shaman, for example).
For instance, in midrange/controlish matchups, you'll dig for value spells, or to evolve some big guy after trade.
Right now, they are reliable because, on top of being all OKish picks, you have 1/4 chances to get what you need. Adding much more picks to the lackey pool will make it weaker.
I think for a lacky this one's a bit on the weaker side.
Still would be a good 1 drop effectively a void walker stats but compared to summon 2 drop and deal 2 damage it's pretty bad. Better than +1 rush probably though which I think is by far the worst lacky on average.

This is a lackey. Can't put it in your deck, it is generated.
Just what rogue needs. A lackey that gives it reasonable access to taunt, which lets it stall the game long enough to Waggle Pick you to death.

Very situational but it really helps especially because buff still Sunfury Protector and Defender of Argus are playable why not this one?

A lackey is a lackey. They are all good (so far)

LOL @ newbs calling this bad, or even not as good as other Lackeys. What game are you even playing?
This Lackey is actually amazing.

Dark Pharoah Tehran begs to differ
Add Lackey support and lackey generators is excellent! Increase the lackey pool not so much.
well league of explorers are no duplicates... and league of evil has bomb warrior
