I'm affraid - it is bringing back bad memories of Crystal core, but then again it is limited how many lackeys warlock can generate - but I'm gratefull it is not a rogue card - that would have been waay too OP.

Is it just me or does it seem like League of EVIL are MILES ahead of Saviors of ULDUM in terms of power level. Saviors get ok-ish highlander legendary cards ( in a meta which bomb warrior is very relevant) and League of EVIL get this, Anka, Corrupt the waters, and Amet wish imo are all VASTLY superior. maybe we'll see some better cards in the coming week but for rn the LoE are definitely on the high end this expansion.
Since I assume Warlock is getting another lackey generator at this point, this card might be pretty awesome. But it has to be a good generator, and it has to generate enough lackey's for you to consider this. It wouldn't be worth it to include this card, but then only play 1 or 2 more lackeys for the rest of the game.
If, for some crazy reason, Warlock doesn't get another lackey generator, then that's really sad for this card.
This is undoubtedly good, but not OP or meta defining imo...
Zoo needs a very cutting edge curve to stay in the game, with the only good lackey generator being EVIL Genius. And generally you play the generated lackeys in the same turn, or the very next turn to get ahead on the board, which Zoo needs to be, because that's what the deck is designed to do.
Holding the lackeys back results in a big tempo loss which is hard to recover from without insane boardclears like Defile. And playing a 5 Mana 4/4 that does nothing immediately doesn't exactly help that problem either...
On the positive side: If you manage not to fall TOO far behind in the "waiting" turns and get this down on turn 5 (which isn't guaranteed with it being a one of), the comeback potential becomes INSANE.
They should have made it terribly statted, at least. Like a 3/2 or a 2/4. Instead it's only mildy under-statted. And it's not like people would have to build the deck around it neither. Lackeys are great or their own. At least they introduced a new defensive lackey instead of an aggressive one.
Needless to say, magic carpet will give them all rush and +1 attack.
This will give people cancer seriously you start to the game as a zoo warlock and evolve into midrange warlock it will be a fkn perfect deck that has no counter.

Gotta admit most of the artwork in this expansion are awesome.
warlock needs more lackeys generatours
Don't forget Glinda.
1 Mana 4/4 with Echo is... pretty strong.
There should be more lackey generators for warlock to make this work

Glinda plus lackeys. Midrange zoo is gonna rule.

Erm... like... weren't lackeys already more than good enough without being given the Crystal Core treatment?
God damn; we'll be getting 5/4 rushers for 1 thanks to Magic Carpet.

For the rest of the game and no quest to complete? Powerful card.
Yeah, ok, but not like this.

Zoolock meta incoming.
So great.
