This card is not OP at all in most games this will have the same impact as sleep with the fishes for 5 mana aka really bad, in other games you pay 3 extra mana for some bigger targets and it will be good, it's well balanced

I mean...sleep with the fishes was a staple of odd warrior. So it's not as if this is unplayable garbage.

I said it's well balanced and I mean it. It's a good card, mass execute for 5 mana is good and it's a lot better than sleep with the fishes in some matchups, it's not even a terrible single target removal if you really need it, it is that good. It's just not as good as sleep with the fishes because that card was also a mass execute or good single target removal against aggro/tempo/midrange decks, but for 3 less mana, and those are the majority of decks in the majority of metas. So it's certainly not OP and while it seems to fit in already good warrior decks, keep in mind you have to remove 2 already good cards from these already good deck to play 2 Plague of Wrath
Edit : you're thinking about the wrong deck, it's just regular control warrior, fishes are 2 mana, odd warrior is not 2 mana friendly
Actually the best boardclear warrior has for tempo decks. Trade your damaged minions into bigger minions your opponent has, the rest survives. Very controllable to become one of the few "one sided" clears warrior has ever had.

Ah - I misread your post. And you're right I did confuse it. Apologies!
A beautiful alternative to Brawl. It's a crying shame this card can't be in Standard along with Blood Razor or Ravaging Ghoul, else no board would be safe against me.
5 mana seems pretty expensive and it's really hard to damage an entire board + play this card. I don't think you have room i the current control warrior to play 2x whirlwind + this. And if it's not whirlwind, you have to sacrifice your minions into theirs, and then pay 5 mana ? Sleep with the fishes was wayyy better.
This might find a home in Dragon Warrior. Dragonmaw Scorcher plus Plague of Wrath is a full board clear for 10 mana and leaves the Warrior a 3/6 body on the board.

I dunno. King Mosh and Whirlwind would have done the same thing, left a 9/7, and I don't remember people doing that.
Have you played warrior? Warpath, two of Dr. Boom's buttons, Boom Bots, Dyn-O-Matic, any cheap mechs after you've played Dr. Boom...
One of the few things that Warrior has trouble with are decks that are very sticky like Token Druid or Mech Paladin/Hunter. Yes, Warrior definitely wants EVEN MORE AoE against them.
So every now and again I like to read the salt thread, and this time I was catching up from early June.
I noticed that in between the rants about how all RNG is rigged in this game, the new trend is to call warrior players pussies if they run Big Game Hunter in their deck. Presumably, the only folks who would have such a complaint are the Conjurer Mage players.
I can only imagine Plague of Wrath doing an impersonation of Jack Nicholson's Joker: "Wait till they get a load of me"

Plz Brawl to HoF and this into the basic set this is much less toxic rng. I like the card looks balanced but warrior is already stuffed with removal.

Warpath + this! Love it!

No problem :) it happens to everyone, yesterday I posted something about the great synergy between Spirit of the Shark and Hooked Scimitar ;)
Warrior becomes untouchable, Blizzard stops giving him good tools
mass execute is very easy to setup, however warpath usually does the same. It really depends on the meta for this to be run or not (execute isnt rn).

KABOOM! or Micro-Squad + Plague of Wrath.
7 Mana Board Clear.

Oh you wanna have fun ? How about to remove your board every round ....
Welcome to warriorstone in Standard, Welcome to Prieststone in Wild ... at this point i might hate it , that i pre-orderd
My current mage deck (wild,reno,otk,highlander)
My current hunter deck (wild,reno,highlander)
"The game is dead"
Every salty hearthstone player
Take out 1 execute/BGH and put 1 of this in should be good
Not OP, just balanced. Be a warrior, playing against a faster deck. This is not the removal that you want on turn 5.
"people won't run this, too hard to set up"
