Not sure what shocks me more: That this is a legendary, or that so many people (over 50%) actually believe it at least playable, if not better.
To me at least, it is another successor of The Boogeymonster, Moorabi, Harbinger Celestia, Duskfallen Aviana and a few others in the past; an intentionally bad legendary that does nothing but pushes you into buying more packs, should you be unlucky enough to get one.
This should have at least Rush, Taunt or Lifesteal to be of some use. Without any immediate, saving effect, it is a Faceless Behemoth, and will probably be about as good. This could easily be a rare or an epic. The reborn and extra stats make it barely stronger than a Bull Dozer, and it's not even a mech.
Cards like these are the reason why release dates always give me some anxiety. I'm excited to get new cards and cool legendaries, and dread to get the worst, because there always are some really, really shitty ones. I'd be very surprised if I'll be proven wrong and see someone playing it, ever. For whatever this is supposed to do, there are at least a dozen better alternatives, even in Standard.

Its weird how nobody is thinking about this in big warrior. You can drop it with boomship, boomreaver or make two of theese with dimentional ripper. Its a great card if you can cheat it out.

Dude, you do realize the number of mana you are gonna spend to get rid of this ? And even if you go face and choose to ignore it, it's still 10 attack point on board that could control your minions or hit you really hard in the face.
Of course, it's really slow, but not in a meta when Conjurer's Calling exists, and I think he gonna be highrolled a lot, with him in standard there's only eleven 10 drops minion which all of them are really good, the worst being Nozari.
I'm playing a lot of conjurer mage lately, and Conjurer's Calling definitely didn't need a buff, especially this kind of buff.

"Dude", what do I care about how much trouble it would give me to get rid of it? Pretty much any big minion in the game will accomplish the same: either killing me swiftly or costing me a lot of resources to handle. Sure, this will survive much more than, say, a Mountain Giant, but the Giant likely won't sit dead in your hand for at least 10 turns, and doesn't force you into an almost suicidal turn.
Saying that it is a good result from Conjurer's Calling has little to do with the card itself. You can say it is good that this card exists, but the card itself is entirely worthless. You can also get Deathwing from your CC but that doesn't mean Deathwing is particularly good. Needless to say that you are in a winning position anyway if you can use CC on a Sea Giant without falling too far behind. Your opponent's board is either too weak to kill you, or you already have a decent board presence where this big guy is as good as any other minion. The reborn gives it some sort of immunity against Poison or instant death like Brawl or Spider Bomb, so it MIGHT improve some matchups slightly, just by existing in the card pool. Doesn't change that you likely wouldn't want to include it in a deck. Doesn't change that it is a pretty bad legendary either (the rarity doesn't matter for CC).
My point was that this is a card I don't want to find in a pack, and any kind of "generated by" won't change that. There are a lot of cards that are fantastic if they get summoned from random stuff while unimpressive or weak when played normally. But that's something I wouldn't take into consideration when rating a card.
As for the comments how you can cheat this guy out: Sure, there's Muckmorpher and Eureka!, there's The Boom Reaver and Dimensional Ripper, and a bunch of other options in Wild, but even for this kind of build-around, I think there are enough cards that are as good or better. A very sticky 10/10 is maybe not the worst of the worst, so I guess it was a bit unfair of me to put it in the same category as Duskfallen Aviana, but it's still a card I wouldn't consider for deckbuilding. Just to name a few alternatives in Standard: Big Bad Archmage gives better immediate board presence, Malygos is super dangerous with a few spells on hand, Oondasta can immediately interact with the board AND snowball with other big beasts on hand (sadly not many around right now), Damaged Stegotron and Witchwood Grizzly are great taunts when summoned without a battlecry. Shaman also has Al'Akir the Windlord and Walking Fountain for immediate recovery/board control.
In wild this is just an addition to big priest. In standard I could viably see Muckmorpher big shaman using this, but not much else.
I wouldn't put it out of the realm of playability though, unless you're using a hard transform you do need 4 seperate attacks (one being 10 health worth) to kill it off. There are plenty of dead turns in control games where you just "want a really freaking big dude" to slam down, and this one is resilient. Tyrantus did have a time where he was played in the past (in tournaments too) for that exact reason, even before Oondasta came out.
I was gonna say that this is pretty good for Big Priest in Wild, but now that I think about it. Y'Shaarj, Rage Unbound is just objectively better in that deck and performs basically the same role.
Maybe if Ramp Druid somehow makes a return Colossus of the Moon could find a place, otherwise I think this is basically a Legendary pack filler, which really sucks.

BP can actually be drained out of minions because it runs way too many board clears for your own good. Hysteria, lightbomb, scream, excavated, dragonfire.. it's totally fine to cut one.

You didnt get the point of this card. Its basically a terget designed card for Paladin. Its meant to be played with Duel! and Prismatic Lens.
Its a boarderline deck but I played it to legend this season its a lot of fun but it realy could need more minions that trade winning with giants.
Not Claiming this is a meta deck it has not an insane win ratio but its playable.
I dodnt see a problem with Blizz giving some fringe Decks some love and this card at least makes that deck better were Bogeymonster and Duskfalen Aviana are outright unplayable and dont fit any particular Deck.

Well, you are right. If that's indeed the point of the card, I didn't get it and I still don't. :P
I mean, of course you can get it out that way and it would also contribute to the quest if you cared about that. Paladin has some ways to cheat out big minions ahead of time, and so do some other classes. My point is, if you can bring out ANY big minion, would you really want to pick this one over anything that has greater functionality than just a big, sticky body? Why not pick a minion with Taunt, or Rush, or anything else?
Your deck features Tirion Fordring, for example. It's a Taunt, it has Divine Shield. It's tricky to kill, it needs to get killed, and when it dies, you are holding a powerful weapon. You also have Burly Shovelfist in there, which at least can kill another minion when it gets on the field. The Colossus won't die as quickly aside from transform effects, but he won't be doing much either. He won't stop other minions, and likely will get ignored for as long as possible.
Some people also mention Big Priest, and I really don't think this would be helping the deck. If Big Priest can slam down Barnes on Turn 4, it wins most of those games anyway. And if not, the best outcome is either Obsidian Statue since it's a hell of a staller, or a minion with a snowball effect on resurrection like Catrina Muerte, Archmage Vargoth or Y'Shaarj, Rage Unbound. If you don't get those, you can actually have trouble. This is just a big guy without much of a benefit aside from 10 attack.
As I've said, I agree that it's not entirely without merit. But if I want to build a deck around a few selected huge minions, not talking about "competitive viability" even, I would probably still not look at this one. I would look at things that have Charge/Rush, Taunt, Lifesteal or some other effect that gives me some extra advantage, because when I build a deck around big minions, I know I will need those abilities with immediate impact to stay alive.
A terrifying inclusion in a Beltrug/Dorian Warlock deck
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Developed Hearthstone player, have played and beaten highly skilled opponents on numerous occasions. Not that ambitious on ladder. Only play off of win streaks. Love theory more than meta.
It is a 10 drop without an immediate effect. It is almost like passing your turn entirely. Imo unplayable. Unless you give it taunt. But that will require setup. Imo it is bad.
I doubt anybody will play this specifically in their deck unless there is a way to cheat it out (Luna's Pocket Galaxy comes to mind, but still not worth for Mage). Getting this however from an evolve or Conjurer's Calling is huge.
Making Mummies Paladin "might" consider it as his late game final straw of win condition.
This is crazy powerful, you all realize he will be reborn with divine shield right? It will take A LOT to take this him down. Even with a silence you've used up 3+ mana and then there is still a 10/10 to deal with.
Or, you ignore him, go face, and get a free turn because the opponent spent 10 mana to summon him.
And then you die because you just ignored something your opponent has been waiting to play since the game started
So many people evaluated this card with having to pay its full cost is why I take any opinion from this forum with a pound of salt, such a lack of imagination.

Insane card when summoning it in early turn.
Best card for warrior class, because of two special ways that warrior class can do than other classes can:
1. Summoning two copies of this minion with Dimensional Ripper, or
2. Summon a single copy of it with Rush by The Boom Reaver. (Paladin can do that, but doesn't target another minion on board).
This card gives me enough hype to play it.
