Card is good and can have a strong effect in the proper deck.
However, what is the proper deck? If you're going to have nothing but big spells, how are you going to survive long enough to play them?
Seems like Big Mage 'may' be possible, but will be strictly worse then Conjurer's Calling Mage. So we know what deck will be all over the ladder still. Until the Conjurer's Calling nerf that is!
Most seem to agree that this is a very powerful card. The real question will be is it good enough to replace the Cyclone engine with higher value spells?
I presume that every mage deck from here until nerf/rotation will play Giant/Calling. But they don't all necessarily have to play Cyclone.
This could allow for the creation of a new BIG spell archtype, similar to the old summoner era. If the only spells you run are Puzzle Box of Yogg-Saron, Flamestrike, and Blizzard, this card can scry for a copy and let you play it instantly. At worst, this gives you a blizzard stapled to a 5/4 body for 2 additional mana.
8 mana 5/5 (bad body). funny battlecry more meme than competitive. blizzard going for the meme meta this expansion
Idk 8 mana 5/5 Choose One: Deal 4 damage to all enemy minions, Summon 2 random 6 cost minions or Cast 10 random spells seems pretty good to me.
Yes it sound good. Then you build your deck for it without Frostbolt, Conjurer's Calling, etc. and you will notice that you dont have the survivability against meta decks.
The card looks good on paper but if its another story if it can find a home in the new meta. If I want to build something new control-ish mage I would rather play the new quest with many cheap spells.
I don't know if Spiteful Mage (comparing with old Spiteful Druid) will become a thing next meta especially if you combine it with Luna's Pocket Galaxy and Power of Creation. Not sure what the third spell will be. Also not sure how Minion based deck will curve out either. Looks interesting none the less.
Ooooh what a surprise, another mage card with the word RANDOM on it.
It looks a bit underwhelming to me - not convinced at all
I don't know how this is going to save you on Turn 6 facing Murlocs. Or turn 7 at 5 hp against Mech Hunter.
MRRRgllgglrrlrlrll
That art reminds me turtle version of Yoel of Londor from Dark Souls 3
Not sure which/if Standard decks will play this, but it works well with many spells: Arcane Intellect, Frost Nova, Luna's Pocket Galaxy, Blizzard...
Im frankly just concerned about the variance, just look at kalecgos for a (limited) idea how this guy might pan out.
Another great tool for this big spell mage thing.

people who don’t think this card is insane are either illiterate or have never played hearthstone.

It's just to prevent abuse from burn spells this card isn't random at all if your deck is built properly with untargeted spells
Why should a 8 mana card save anyone on turn 6?

8 mana 5/5 deal 4 damage to all enemy minions/deal 2 damage and freeze all enemy minions/puzzlebox of yogg
If this aint a 2 of in some deck I don't know anymore...
I'm here to kick ass and play cards, and I'm all out of ass.
what? They don't do the same thing at all, lay off the crack.

Reminds me of this card

This should be a fun meme with Puzzle Box of Yogg-Saron. Worth mentioning that it casts a copy of the spell so Tortollan Pilgrim doesn't consume it.
