Very strong against aggro though IF they can't remove this minion or you do this on turn 5. as others have said, a lesser Duskbreaker, but still decent.
There is no way aggro will let this live, though. You're not getting any value out of Arcane Flakmage until turn 4 or 5 against any kind of deck. If it were a 2/3, maybe, but a 3/2 isn't worth the risk of playing on curve.
It's still really good, however. Just use other means to contest the board for a few turns, or at least get their minions' health low, then this makes it a lot easier to mop up.

Even if the secret pool were good (which it is not), I don't think this is a particularly good card. It seems like more work than necessary to basically play Blast Wave.
The highlander comments have merit, because you'll need something to play.
While I wish that this were a 2/3 so it doesn't die to 2-attack 1-drops, this card is really good. It would be absolutely busted in Paladin or Hunter though, so I'm glad it isn't neutral.

turn 2 secret with coin
turn 3 play it
"Old" magic is always stronger and more mysterious ;)
I have made the same mistake. It is "after you play a secret"

I've seen mages who wear Shooting Star , this is the best substitute
Incredibly strong with Ancient Mysteries as a board clear and giving you tempo.
Standard may not have enough good secrets but this card will let wild secret mage fight aggro.
