turn 6 response to turn 5 divine shield zilliax, perfect to couter lifesteal minion, 7/5 can survive most of 4 damage spells/areas/weapons. Can destroy your own minions if requiered. i think its a good card. you can buff it next turn, possible combo.... gepeto took this card or faceless manipulator, and you can try ectomancy in turn 7 with 4 7/5 in table.
I dont believe this card is as good. Zoolock does not need this, probably. And control lock does not want the body nor the damage.
Seems like a midrange card for a class that hasnt seen midrange for years.
Evenlock was textbook midrange and that's only a few months gone. If there's enough healing available to support this and another decent stick that supports self-damage or low health, a viable handlock build could come back around.
This is good and the life loss is not that bad, unless you are against Hunter, but Warlock's didnt fare well against them anyhow. In Wild this card is a direct replacement for my Syphon Soul. I would rather have the minion than 3 life.
This is just good and would be meta defining if it had taunt. Possibly far too powerful if it did though.
Yeah it's an assassinate with a 1 mana 7/5 attached. The whole damage yourself thing is annoying, but depending on the target (low health high attack for instance) overall you could be saving yourself damage in the long run. At the very least in wild where there's a lot of ways to regain health this will be very good, and even in standard I think this has a fair chance of seeing play if there's a control warlock. Heck this could be used to destroy taunts clogging the way in an aggro deck.
Could be a really good card, but you need some way to mitigate the downside (like Amethyst Spellstone), or some kind of reward for being at low health (like Molten Giant/Hooked Reaver). This would have been nuts in Evenlock.
Why the heck are people saying it's bad because Warlock doesnt' have a lot of healing? Even if you only use the battlecry to deal 3 dmg it's amazing value for a card. And surely you can take 3 dmg? Come on, use that brain that you hopefully have.
