Yeah this is gonna be bananas on a couple levels. Outside of the obvious synergy with Deathrattle and Reborn (as I type this I'm realizing we will likely get at least one minion who has both keywords) cards like Zilliax, Secretkeeper, Crystalsmith Kangor, Leeroy Jenkins, Magic Carpet, Raid Leader are going to be somewhere between very powerful and interesting, and that's without mentioning many others and obvious powerhouses in Wild like Ragnaros the Firelord and Emperor Thaurissan
Potential fit in just about every type of deck, it seems very powerful and yet not broken. I'm excited to see what people come up with for this one.
(2nd post) Also, this makes the reveal of those three one health minions even more curious. We must be waiting on something else, maybe a card like Void Ripper that affects cards in your deck(?)
This feels like Priest in RR, they try to make a new archetype and don't give it the support required (flood your deck with 1 cost copies, but priest has no card draw to take advantage of this)
Don't believe we'll get enough reborn minions to really support this, look at paladin's cards so far, a bunch of 1 hp aggro spam, and a hero power upgrade (counterproductive with this). And you better believe we won't be seeing more reborns after this expansion.
They're wanting this used with reborns, but all that does is give you 2/2 twice. You'll have too many reborn minions in your deck to be able to stuff deathrattles in there and you can't give reborn minions OP deathrattles since they'll be triggering twice.
Yeah, obviously this Quest has major synergy with most strong deathrattle cards, but just how good will Reborn minions be in keeping the Paladin alive.
Basically, this would be really strong in a Mech Paladin deck with the Egg synergy being super strong, but is the deck stronger without the Reborns? Have to see what support comes out here
I like it, I think it's going to shine more in Wild, however, due to the massive card pool, Standard just doesn't offer enough variety to make it really shine.

I joke a lot, if you take anything I say seriously, well, shame on you :p
For years, from mean street of gadgetzan that Paladino does not have a good expansion, only a few lucky hits with common card's, it is now clear that at Blizzard they want to make it unusable ... (with these cards the nerf have not made sense, especially for equality)
This is absolutely meta-defining. If you voted Bad, you are in for a big surprise.
We are witness to the rise of a new Paladin archetype, and it will be powerful.
But we don't know how many Reborn minion's they'll even be, let alone if they'll be playable. Way, way too soon to say meta-defining; I get why you say it because the power level is high, but it's only contingent on it being worth playing. Without playable reborn minions it won't see any play.

If you thought you knew what you think I know, then you'd know I knew you knew I know.
Screenshot taken from the reveal video. As you can see, there's a 1/2 and a 2/5 Taunt with Reborn that we haven't seen yet, both of which come out before turn 7 (which is a wide range, I know, but I'm taking what I see). Like others have said, this is kinda the flagship keyword of the set alongside Quests, and assuming they aren't carrying a Reborn forwards they really have to support this quest right here right now.

Why on Earth would they even print a Quest whose requirement could not be met?
I know we can't see the future, but have at least that much faith.
They've said in multiple interviews that they designed these new Quests to be easier to complete than the previous ones. To mean that doesn't mean, "Make Paladin play Reborn minions but don't print enough Reborn minions for Paladin to play."

I never said anything about the requirement not being met, I said we don't know how many Reborn there will be, and of those how many will actually be good enough to compete in the meta without being a complete meme. Also keep in mind if you have no minions on the board, this hero power LITERALLY does nothing. It's more than fair to say it's questionable this quest will measure up to the current broken stuff everyone will continue to play unless given a reason otherwise.

If you thought you knew what you think I know, then you'd know I knew you knew I know.
I mean as long as paladin can get some reborn support (which why wouldn't it after this) this is just a really good heropower let alone it possible combo synergy. I mean you're already running reborn minions in your deck. 2/2 reborn minons for 2 mana sounds honestly fine and good for any turn you don't want/need to throw out a combo with it. Then add in combo synergy of some kind and you have a great hero power. Really excited for this in the expansion

Well, you play a lot of reborn minions in this deck. You know what you can copy well? Reborn minions.
I think this is really steong, if reborn gets some more good reborn support cards.
As for combo potential, I am not creative enough to think of applications. Maybe kangors army?

Should have been Priest Quest, since when is Paladin is about copying minions or playing deathrattle minions.
So much for the "Paladin Quest gonna be Play/summon 1-health minions"

The reward is awesome. But... weird, and kind of seems more suited to a Priest or Hunter deck. Or at least their theme with deathrattles.
The requirement needs more support before I can judge it at all.

does finishing the quest automatically reward us with the new hero power or does it give us a spell to change it ?
auto
You automatically get the HP
