This card has Wild synergies written all over it, but at the same time I do not like this card for the fact that giving Cubelock more copies of something is friggin' annoying. I would throw my keyboard out the window if they manage to discard Bloodreaver Gul'dan. One cool thing is with this you can have an infinite 5/5 one the board if you only discard Cruel Dinomancer.
On the other hand, in standard this also has potential to be pretty good handlock support.
Even zoo can use this.. play this card, possibly discard leeroy, grim rally this and get 2 leeroy.. pog
Since the only thing Zoo has going for it is Life Tap to draw the resources that are in its deck, I'm rather pessimistic about this.
Zoo is a non-competitive deck right now. You won't find it in either GM's or Masters.
Zoo needs to grab the board and hold that board. Once upon a time, it could do that against other aggro and midrange decks. Now, there are too many other board centric decks that can beat it off the board, and Zoo has no comeback mechanisms. Zoo needs solidly stated minions to return to its former state. A 2-mana 2/1 isn't gonna cut it.
Instead of this, Warlock needs more like "Discard your highest cost card, heal yourself that much."
Why in the hell would anyone ever use that? "Oh yeah let me just discard a voidlord for 9 health" That's the worst deal I've ever seen. This card can give two gul'dans in wild. There's literally nothing stronger than that in the whole damn class and you're suggesting a card in it's place that throws the game when played. smh
Only way it would ever be viable is with Molten Giants and at that point it's completely broken, which further reinforces the idea that this idea is terrible at its core.
Big Priest is more of an anti-fun deck than anything. Hard control can beat it sometimes, hard aggro can only beat it if they have a bad opener, but anything other than that auto loses.

I'm here to kick ass and play cards, and I'm all out of ass.
Wild Zoolock will make a comeback equipping two of this + Cruel Dinomancers at the high end of mana curve. Zoo is naturally favored against aggro decks, and if that combo is set up, two undead 5/5's can kill most slow decks and can eat tons of damage by Flamewaker. Hopefully my Thousand Armor Miracle Druid can sustain that.
A very flexible card that can be played across a variety of Warlock decks for value, combining it with Mortal Coil in control/Grim Rally in zoo is a must in my opinion because you don't want to risk losing that legendary/value you just discarded.
The interaction with Cruel Dinomancer in wild will absolutely require a nerf. It isn't hard to pull off and will give you a pair of 5/5 Dreadsteed clones. We aren't even talking about the nerfed version of Dreadsteed either.

Bye Elysiana!
Kill your own minion before opponent can do anything and...
Hi twin sister!
Everyone don't see this is a 5 stars card never know how to play with warlock.
So a bunch of logical leaps + memes. Got it.
This and coil for 3 Mana... pretty dope!
Pretty sure that if this is not a meta defining it will be on the next expansion.

Ooooooooooo. Definitely gonna try this out!
A simple but powerful effect I can see in all archetypes
Good card for sure. Could even run it in a low-curve aggro style deck just for the resource generation.

or the 3 mana prince. then throw out a hellfire and bam, 8 mana add 3 more gul'dans to your hand and deal 3 damage to all minions.

So anyone knows how the interaction with cost reduced cards (like Mountain Giant) is going to work?
Say if I have a 6 cost Mountain Giant and an 8 cost Twisting Nether, which is going to be discarded?

Double Leeroy?!
