Kinda like Carnivorous Cube, getting two Lord Godfrey, Jaraxxus or Mountain Giant is really good, but it gets super destroyed by silence or Cabal Shadow Priest. Also it tells the opponent what card is going to duplicated, so he can choose to silence or not.
Really high ceiling on this card - not sure exactly how you'd abuse it, but it definitely has some capability for abuse. Gets wrecked by any non-destroy effect to remove it (ie. transform, silence, steal etc), but without that it's basically Loot Hoarder with some major potential upside depending on what it discards.
Of note, it can actually go infinite with itself - 2 copies of this in hand, and as long as it's your most expensive card (which likely means you only have this, but not necessarily) then you'll discard one to eventually draw 2; lather, rinse, repeat. I mean, it's not exactly high power infinite value, but it is there.
If it finds itself in some combo deck - which would probably be in wild, but I digress - I imagine people will run it alongside Mortal Coil and/or Dark Pact to avoid getting blown out by silence or transform (or anything else like Cabal Shadow Priest), for a 3 mana way to duplicate a high cost combo card.
It can set up some interesting shenanigans with the 6 drop from RR (can't remember the name off the top of my head). Loads of potential in this card in a midrange/control style of Warlock provided the early game survivability is there. This is a real positive step for the class but it still needs a little more to make it back into the game.
This card is ridiculous this is the strongest discard synergy they ever printed, I can't wait to experiment with this and the other discard synergy, Malchezaar imp, fist of Jaraxxus, lakkari sacrifice..
Man it is a cheap card. I don't see any silence or steal problem for this. You can trigger it for 3 mana with mortal coil which effectivelly is: duplicate your highest cost card and draw a card for 3 mana. Pretty good card imo.

man, 1 mana minion, u will ALLWAYS kill it in the turn u play it.

man, 2 mana minion, only good way to kill it is Mortal Coil, which is not reliable at all.

This card is absolutely crazy and busted in Wild. You can play this along with Defile. Clear the board AND draw 2 copies of your most powerful card in your deck. There are SO many ways to self trigger this on the same turn, that this card alone, could bring control warlock back into the spotlight.
Here is the kicker too. Imagine this was DK Guldan (in wild). You now have numerous ways to rebuild your board and no deck can keep up with such value. And there are ways to trigger Deathrattle's twice in wild, so this card is absolutely crazy powerful.
In Standard, we have to see. If Warlock gets any good healing tools, they might make a come back.

This card is sick but Warlock still needs more.
Very good with the lackey generator as well.
Double Elysiana is good for control warlock if this deck can come back the meta.
Instead of this, Warlock needs more like "Discard your highest cost card, heal yourself that much."
Very good!

While I agree that Warlock needs healing, this would be way too insane with Giants in hand.

Finally in Wild you can now create a board of 5/5 versions of pre-nerf Dreadsteed
By discarding only a single Cruel Dinomancer then when you play the others they will infinitely summon themselves until silenced or transformed

Great way to tutor out a second copy of a Legendary or additional copy of another key card including spells. Very good!
