Who are voting meta-defining? Control\combo paladin won't play this because they need 2 of their removals\draws and there are no enough aggro cards to play singleton and payoff is not that big
It is a meme level in standard. Maybe some weird deck will emerge in wild but I fail to see how it can be better than odd paladin.
Pally is only good right now because of the doubles of extremely powerful combo enablers, whether Shirvallah OTK or Mech's...both strat's get completely DEMOLISHED by going Highlander, so I'm really confused as to why everyone is fawning for this card. What kind of deck are you going to build? Cause Pally is only effective in the meta by specializing, give that up and what do you have? An RNG chance to get a useful hero power, maybe.
Deck builders will figure it out, nobody knows what kind of deck we are going to build but the powerlevel of Finley is worth building around.
In other words there is no existing deck he will be good in, so if a new one doesn't come about he will see little to no play, irregardless of power level; getting a strong hero power is a joke compared to Giants Mage, or any of the top tier decks atm.

If you thought you knew what you think I know, then you'd know I knew you knew I know.
you dont need the Stats you need Hunter Heropower maybe 3DMg for 2 Mana
Every paladin deck will play this card.
Control will take 4 armor or draw 1 card or heal 4.
Aggro will take 2 dudes or 2 damage or 3 face damage or 2/2 weapon or draw 1 card.
And this comes with a vanilla stat minion. It's so OP.
This goes never into a Control deck. Since Paladin isnt really stacked with aoe (even in wild) , you need every Equallity /Consecration you can get.
Also you seem to forget that unlike Genn and Baku you have to draw Finley to activate the upgraded Heropower. Since he is only a 1 of, the chance s to dra whim on turn2 is what? 30%?? I guess even in an aggro deck hes not worth it.

Paladin has tools to deal with giant mage, scroll through your collection.
Is this your first expansion? New cards are supposed to bring in new decks, it's just a card game thing. A new card not fitting into any existing deck is generally not an indicator of its powerlevel. Mountain giant didn't fit into mage decks, then blizzard introduced a couple cards that are worth building around with mountain giant. Magic!

How do you explain original Finley was played in aggro decks for the hunter/warlock HP back in the LoE days? He was also a one of and a lot weaker than new Finley.

FIrst off nice job by throwing in numerous personal attacks, that right there means you're just a garbage person, but I'll answer your thinly-veiled troll response simply: Pally is only good with its good cards because of consistency, take that away and they will suffer. Also if you understood how Hearthpwn worked, you could check my profile real quick and see how long I've been a member here at the very least to see how long I've been playing. I realize that's too much hard work, better to just be a mean-spirited douche.

The funniest and probably my favorite legendary of the old LoE gang. Gonna try this with a Reno paladin with Nozari, Thekal and hoping to get restore 4 health or 4 armor hero power!

Not if you play a higlander deck. Despite the fact running double Equallity ,Shrink Ray ,Consecration and Pyromancer , there was even a time when i even run BGH ! Thats how much you need to deal with Giants Mage, and thats sometimes not enough if they get an early Pocket Galaxy.
No way a Highlander Paladin can beat Giants Mage. And like i wrote the likelyhood of drawing Finley NOT on turn 2 is very high, so i doubt he would be even any good in aggro Pally.

Original Finley didn't require you to screw your own synergies and consistency of your deck (imagine pirate warrior throwing away half of his weapons\pirates for worse ones....)
Aggro\midrange need their consistency even more than control. For them to willingly lose their tempo on playing subpar 1-2-3 mana cards you need to give something insane. If that was something like 2 mana 2/3, deal 12 damage to enemy hero. Then yes. That would be worth it. As it is... nope.
The other new Paladin cards we've seen so far would absolutely NOT work in a singleton deck. I assume there's going to be some big 1-health minion payoff card, probably the quest, in which case you'll definitely need to double up on everything.
So this card may seem strong in a vacuum, especially next to the other League of Explorers members, but in the context of Paladin, it's going to need a lot more support.

Finely and Reno Jackson working together, I like it. Obviously you need to draw this early to make the most out of the upgraded hero power but it's still very powerful.

Yes, he was hilarious. Good intro music and I always chuckled at "But of course."
Interesting idea - will have to experiment with Thekal + Nozari as well.

To be honest , i just remember him played mainly in Warrior wich makes sense right?
An aggro deck doesnt need the Armor up. And they didnt need to play a Highlander deck around him. Playing Highlander is a huge restriction for Paladin, and since its very likely you draw Finley in the later stages of the game doesnt make him appealing to me in an aggro deck. And like i wrote its almost impossible ( and not really worth it imo) to play Sir Finley in Control.
Btw pls show me were aggro Warlock and Hunter played Finley .This cant be correct (Didnt Warrior just run him because of that Currator guy that also drew a Dragon and Mech?) If an aggro deck gets armor up Shaman and Priest HP they just lose?

Omg this is sick. I can see this actually push Highlander Paladin. The only problem is that Bomb Warrior is a thing.
And why, prey tell, would Odd Paladin want to "upgrade" it's hero power?
Next time, put some thought into your whine.

Terrible anti-synergy with the Quest. Probably.

Murloc Paladin that can replace its hero power with an upgraded Warlock, Mage or Hunter hero power could be extremely obnoxious.
"Hey guys highlander decks"
Boo get new material
