It's not great, but it's probably the best of the bunch in terms of playability.
In Standard, as of right now, I think none of the new explorers is worth the build-around. But in Wild, Mage is the only class (out of the four) with access to Kazakus, and also has a bunch of strong cards for singleton decks, inlcuding Frost Lich Jaina. There's also Inkmaster Solia, but sadly she isn't good either. Perhaps if you also included Puzzle Box of Yogg-Saron, since Solia's main problem was the absence of powerful expensive spells.
Reno Mage isn't particularly good right now, even if Big Priest would magically disappear overnight, but honestly, if one of the new explorers has a chance to see play in a competitive deck it's probably this one. Again, new Reno isn't great, but I think it is worth including in a deck that is reasonably strong already. It's certainly easier to build a solid Reno Mage than a Reno Hunter, Druid or Paladin. And out of the others, I think only Brann has an effect that is good enough to even try.
Sincerely not having duplicate cards in standard there is no incentive to play them in that way, the missions will see more game than these legendary minions of this condition

Yup, I may craft this for my wild Renomage, but until big priest/Barnes gets nerfed, slow decks aren't a thing in wild with winrates in the 30% to 45% range depending on matchups. At least Renomage won't be too far behind Renolock thanks to this new card. I voted playable because of wild.
You know what, on second thought I am beginning to like this card. It basically helps clear the board so it does have some purpose. However to make this work you need to build a deck around this... So we will have to wait and see what else is printed' to support this type of play style.
Very underwhelming effect for such an iconic character..such a shame. A lot of us ironically did expect the effect to be something like this but not this weak. It's not worth going highlander just for one Meteorologist effect in standard.
Volcano saw play. 10 damages split among enemies will be board clear most of the times, leaving a nice 4/6 on the field. IMHO it's a very powerful card, at the least for wild, we just need to see what others support they will give to highlander decks.
Oh Reno, what did they do to you?

Super sad Reno was not a neutral. They should have added a new person to the team.
This card is OK. The problem is that it’s just better using double Conjurer’s Calling in a Giant Cyclone Mage deck

Well the animation is good.. the card may not be.. but we should wait if any other highlander cards come up, either mage or neutral.
Some of y'all are forgetting that Reno only targets minions and not the opponent's face.
A highlander deck in standard with all the bomb warriors ready to mess your deck with bombs LOL! Really bad card...
Blizzard does a better job often than this for agro boards...
Ten damage is nothing vs minions. This is way too little.
Thankfully Bomb Warrior isn't a high winrate de...oh...oh...
Rip.
If you thought you knew what you think I know, then you'd know I knew you knew I know.
Would be ok if it could hit face ...
My current mage deck (wild,reno,otk,highlander)
My current hunter deck (wild,reno,highlander)

PS: the artwork is temporary, right?
Art is great as always, wtf is wrong with you people?
Insta 400 dust ez.
Lame.
Just uninspired. Not an interesting effect. Reno deserved better. :(
