This card is so underrated... it’s actually funny how many people think this card is garbage but don’t realize how insane it is vs aggro. Like gg 99% of the time.
It's more of a one sided volcano, It always seemed to me that a highlander deck wasn't that hard too make it just depends on if there enough general cards, like old priests many board clears to make it work. I feel that mage and druid may work as highlander decks but their legendaries aren't great while the finly for pally is busted but the deck might not be good enough even with him. Hunter is iffy for me.

Mage would need some great low cost twin spells to even last that long. Not only that, but by turn 6, Bomb Warrior probably already has more than 2 bombs in your deck which breaks the effect.
Also reno is like a one sided volcano with a 4/6 body which is really strong. in a regular deck I think it would see play, it really just depends on if mage can create a highlander deck, which I think they can considering their many board clears and control card, I feel that if mage gets a few more value card they can make Reno work. It won't be the star of the deck just a complement to it.
i mean, the worst one of the league, but... mage doesnt actually need more good cards, does it ?
You're right, mage is sitting in a good spot right now. Let's not forget that in Wild, Mage already has access to Kazakus and Inkmaster Solia. Having another strong Reno card would push the class beyond it's other reno competitors.
I am referencing the art and the character not the effect. I just don’t see Reno as a mage but that’s just me. When I think of a mage I think of a magic wielding sorcerer not Reno with a magic weapon XD
Unless there are other highlander matters cards, it is absolutely not worth to play it in standard... May be a decent inclusion in a wild reno mage but I am not sure about
Hm. I agree that the card doesn't look good at first sight. But it's important that it only does damage to minions - old Reno was a way to stabilize against aggro and turn the game, and this does the same to a certain degree. In a best-case scenario, this is a turn 6 board clear with a 4/6 body attached, and that doesn’t sound too unlikely. Is it enough to make Highlander mage a thing? Maybe not. But I think the card is better that it is given credit for.
what? arcane missiles, metereologist, dart frog, flamewaker ... this kinda multi missiles damage is for sure a mage thing
Complete garbage.

I don't care how good is this card. The art is simply shit (no fedora even), the effect is generic and boring. Reno deserve better.

The card is ok for reno mage, but for standard it is just so bad. Also such a lazy design, come on.

but in this case, you played 2 cards and have no body on board
If there is strong singleton support, it's perfectly fine and will see play.
I don't expect the singleton support to be strong enough.

I wouldn't even play this in wild Reno Mage. I have no idea what they were thinking.
It's a more often than not worse meteorologist
Now I know that Reno isn;t a red dragon because that card is lifeless.

There is lol
bUt iT hAs A 4/6 bOdY
This is twice strong the warrior mech and that card see a lot of play, maybe dont enough to justify build a highlander deck but sure is strong.
In your example is one card with the effect of two cards and a 4/6 body.
