I don't know whether the Overkill interactions will work as people speculate. Would seem to me like a pretty big oversight if a surviving Linecracker could end the game instantly. I mean, they nerfed Reckless Experimenter for pretty much the same reason.
But even if not, the card can still be used in different ways, and it's up to the player to get the most out of it. At worst, it is a Shadow Bolt, a decent removal spell in a class that doesn't have many alternatives. I really like the design.
The only thing that bothers me is that it doesn't work with spell damage, like Imp-losion does. Otherwise, it would say "summon 4 bees" instead of "summon four bees".
It will kill the minion and remaining bees will survive. Alec said in his video that it's a removal to small minions and it's perfect for token druid as your other bees will survive and you can combo with soul of the forest, etc.
Looking also in the Wild format we can combo this card with Addled Grizzly. Not OP for 6 mana, but it can be used for example as a countermeasure to a turn 5 giant with an empty board...
I don't get it. Swipe is just better then this. Also Dire Wolf Alpha ? I mean what ends up happening is that you'll deal 8 for 5 mana. Reminds me of a card that was not being played in mage Flame Lance and this is something that requires 2 cards. The Gloop does not work you pay 4 mana and gain 5...assuming that the spell will kill the target. This card is below average unless you are desperate for a single target removal. But i mean...change my mind.
Swipe has no summoning synergy and no multiple-attack synergy. No one can change your mind if you don't see how that's important. You'll have to wait and let game play change it for you.
(Also, the Dire Wolf Alpha trick doesn't work anyway. That's not how you'd use this card.)
Actually, overkill is coded based on the turn, so even though the bees are attacking Linebreaker will still trigger his overkill effect (according to gamedev Peter Whalen).

It's also in the tooltip: Deal excess damage on your turn for a bonus.
I guess the devs are right; no one reads the tooltips.

The interaction between Reckless Experimenter and SN1P-SN4P would have been OTK anytime you had any Mech on board at the start of your turn.
The Linecracker + BEEEES!!! combo requires you to have a Linecracker with more than 4 health on board at the start of your turn. (Also, Linecracker costs (7), so it cannot happen as early in the game.)
It's still a dangerous interaction that needs to be watched, but not as bad as the SN1P-SN4P thing.
It's a 2 card combo, which is obviously a downside compared to UI being one card. But it's basically: "7 mana: Draw 4 Cards. Deal 4 Damage. Summon a 4/2." So we're talking 1 less damage, 1 less card, no armour, and a 4/2 instead of a 5/5, but it comes out THREE TURNS earlier. not to mention you're drawing even more cards if you already had any minions on board to trade with.
UI was just absurd, so anything that does something similar to that is something to be trifled with. Not to mention, it's just a great card even without that synergy. Meta-defining card, easily - assuming druids are any good this expansion. Which I would imagine they will be.
....I hope not just token this time around.
Also before anyone says it, I realize part of why UI was so powerful was because druids could easily ramp to it with their amazing 5 mana nourishes and 2 mana wild growths. And now that their ramp has been heavily nerfed, it wouldn't be quite as powerful. But it's still a really great card, and this combo is still ridiculous, regardless of ramp.
On enemy acolyte to burn his cards or fatigue him nourish can do that
Usually people play Acolyte when they want to draw cards (and have the hand space to do so), but it's true that everyone will have to be a little more careful against Druid now.
Restricting your opponent's options is never a bad thing!

Ironhide Direhorn

Does not work. The Ironhide Direhorn has to attack the bees not the bees the Ironhide Direhorn

I saw that. But what if you use BEES! on a minion with 3 health? Would 1 bee remain, I wonder.
“What’s this? A board woefully underpopulated by BEES? My card full of BEES oughta put a stop to that!”

Does the target have more than 0 attack?
I think all the bees attack, even if the target had less than 4 health to begin with, so I think they would all die if the target has any attack.
Of course the video shows a million examples and leaves out the one that isn't obvious.

So, this card is really powerful. I think the combo of Cult Master + BEEEES!!! is literally directly comparable to Ultimate Infestation.

works in egg druid
pop your egg and get 4 tokens for 3 mana
Gurubashi Berserker, If you can get it to stick for 1 turn. Play the following turn for an extra 12 attack?
Rusty Recycler
Ironic. It could recycle others, but not itself.
