I may have missed some and obviusly most of them do not have any synergy. My guess is that a combo/OTK deck will profit from this deck the most. But most likely no tempo/control deck (Hagatha is strictly better for them).
In wild there is the synergy for jades, but thats it so far.

It is funny that you say there arent many good battlecries but then you mention a lot of cards. Doesnt make sense to me. Plus we dont know about the battlecry minions from the upcoming expansion. And Hagatha strictly better? Thats bs. Hagatha is pure random. There are a lot of crap shaman spells. And you can run both: Quest and Hagatha.
I really dont get why people are losing their minds over this card.
We have seen how powerful double battlecry can be in rogue, for sure. But rogue has things like Edwin and evil miscreant. Also shadowstep to do battlecrys again.
Shaman does have lackeys too, but not such a poweful tool to get many of them. And the fact that the heropower still costs 2 mana and is not passive makes it decent value, but terrible tempo.
Heropower cable rat is 4 mana for a 1/1 body and 2 lackeys. Thats terrible on its own.
One lackey played with hero power is also 3 mana. Also terrible. If not at least 2 are played in a turn this is not worth it. And generating 2 lackeys every single turn is far from easy to do.
I really doubt we see much play from this unless we get many more powerful cheap battlecrys in this set.
Somehow this card is being overestimate and underestimated. It's not broken, but it is very good. I have a hard time imagining that this doesn't become one of the main forms of Shaman.
It's basically Lackey rogue. Swap out Leeroy and Togwaggle for Fire Elementals and Shudderwock. You've got weapons. You've got lackeys. You've got burn damage. You have ways to double up on battlecries.

It is funny that you either cannot read or understand what i wrote. These are clearly the best battlecries you can use to get the best possible outcome with the quest. But the real question is: How can you fit these together to make a deck that has a clear gameplan/end game? When it comes to an attrition style of game i'd say hagatha is better because you get more resources to survive. On the other hand these battlecries can't protect you as good as she can. Or maybe use her as a second shot after using the quest. Who knows?
I certainly dont know if, or what new powerful battlecries will be printed, but right now the only viable deck option i could see is a combo deck, because draw is always good and if you can double on that, especially with jepetto, you will have a plan (Alex, then Bomber+Lifedrinker+Warmage to the face for the win).
Or do you have a better insight on this card and it's use?
If this wasn't 2 mana for the Hero Power and passive instead, this would be broken as hell.
I won't argue about this. But consider that you have to defend yourself against aggressive decks with more than battlecry minions and could easily draw only a few until half the game is over. That can change obviously as new and powerful cards will be shown in the reveals.

In Wild, this will be absolutely powerful and make Shaman even stronger, but that is a different thread topic.
In Standard though, you have plenty of healing in the form of battlecry minions. Combine this with Shudderwock and you have yourself a deck that stays alive with healing early on, and then can burst for tons of healing later on with Shudderwock.
If you save the coin, you can Shudderwock and use this Hero Power in the same turn. The deck doesn't need to throw in 'extra' battlecry minions and make the deck worse. Shudderwock already does this and this quest is a natural fit. This card will define Shaman in the new expansion in Standard.
since it says "battlecry card", not "battlecry minion" and hagatha just doesn't go well if it, i am guessing shaman is receiving a battlecry weapon, and a good one
Bit late to react to this card but to me this is the most exciting card so far. (maybe a tie with the druid quest) In wild one thaurissan thick makes shudderwock + heropower available. Very strong synergy with for example witchwood piper before and after quest completion. HP + Dirty rat or hecklebot into either hex the dangerous minion or devolve or new murlocification can really disrupt combo-decks.
Strong value creators for C-Thun or jade (infi jade with HP + jade spirit + banker on the spirit + banker on the banker ) or mill shaman can become a thing?
these are the cool posibility cards that I kinda missed the last 2 expansions. Even if they don't become super meta this will be fun to play around with and can work into cool highlights.
Also da undatakah for a hybrid deathrattle/battlecry deck

This is INSANE. Shaman is already top meta with the control battlecry shudderwock decks and murloc aggro.
This is gonna be tier 1 card
Do you guys realize that there aren't that many good battlecries to profit right now?
We've got Sludge Slurper, EVIL Cable Rat, Twilight Drake, Fire Elemental, Dragonmaw Scorcher, Firetree Witchdoctor, Giggling Inventor, Former Champ (?), Hench-Clan Hag, Jepetto Joybuzz, Lifedrinker, Krag'wa, the Frog, Gnomish Inventor, Menacing Nimbus, Microtech Controller, Novice Engineer, Sandbinder, Seaforium Bomber, Sunreaver Warmage, Unseen Saboteur, Witchwood Piper.
I may have missed some and obviusly most of them do not have any synergy. My guess is that a combo/OTK deck will profit from this deck the most. But most likely no tempo/control deck (Hagatha is strictly better for them).

Always expect the unexpectable!
Shaman's OTK lackey Corrupt the waters deck incoming

Broken as f in standard.
F beyond repair in wild.
Let's say that the earliest you could pull this off is turn 6.
Turn 6, use 2 mana for the Hero Power itself.
another 2 mana for Cable Rat and get 2 Lackeys.
Play newly acquired Lackeys for double the effects. Let's say you have the summon a 2 drop and the spell Lackeys.
On turn 6, it is possible to have on the board, Cable Rat, Lackey, Lackey, 2 drop, 2 drop. And 2 more spells in your hand.
From an empty board to a board with 5 minions is utterly crazy. And you get 2 spells of your choosing.
If they don't clear the board again, you have a Bloodlust or Stormbringer the next turn.
If this wasn't 2 mana for the Hero Power and passive instead, this would be broken as hell.

This could work in wild:
This card is really next level strong.
How could this get passed the testing fase?
In rogue we play a 4 mana creature to get this effect for 1 turn.
Shaman has even stronger Battecry effects.
In Wild, this will be absolutely powerful and make Shaman even stronger, but that is a different thread topic.

IT IS ALREADY BROKEN
Mage Mission: Play 5 elemental
Reward: Icy touch from Frost Lich Jaina.
It have lots of potential. I dont think its as broken as people think.

i mean, with and after joybuzz this is quite disgusting
I’m just waiting for the next card....
