The 50% chance to miss is what makes him at least somewhat balanced. Nevertheless, this is exactly the card Rogue needs: a 5-6 mana class minion with great stats. Kidnapper did not deliver. Even if you miss at every single blow, you are very likely to get a 1:2 or even better with this card.
Because a 6/6 beatstick that is unreliable is exactly what rogue needs. Because all the top players were just wanting to play a tiger that was unpredictable. Lets see how many legend players run tiger in a serious rogue deck. I dont know about you brah but I would say the answer is pretty close to zipperino. But you know, "this exactly the card rogue needs" as all the fanboys were just crying for a card like this, oh wait...
I just realized the illustration is even more brilliant than I first thought - anybody remember the Ninja hedge from the Tick comic book? That HAS to be why they're holding sticks. "We are a hedge. Please move along."
Well, obviously you can't attack with it turn 5; it doesn't have charge. If you mean skipping turns after that, then that could be the right play. Take this scenario. You're facing a hunter. Your health is 12, his health is in the 20s. The board is clear except for your ogre ninja. Would you risk attacking his face when you could be dealing 5 damage to yourself? Probably not. You should wait until he has minions out on the board before you try anything.

Ogre Ninja may only hit the wrong enemy, so he cannot hit your own face, so you're free to smack the Hunter in the face as much as you desire.
This card is a Monster; it has amazing stats for a 5 drop; it has a guaranteed attack because stealth; it has the possibility to go through taunts and to kill stealthed units and even if he attacks the wrong ENEMY he still attacks AN ENEMY, so you still get a benefit form this card not like the goblin bullcrap that can hinder you. THis thing is like a 6 Mana Rag.
I just want to make a silly Rogue deck that runs all of those over-stated minions with a downside and just try to run over an opponent. Like Dancing Swords, Mukla, Ambusher, Ogre Ninja, The Beast, etc... and just see what would happen.

You thought there would be something inspirational here didn't you?
in terms of vanilla stats, people are forgetting that Silver Hand Knight has same stats for the same mana and no drawback.
Yes but you can remove two of those attack stats by dealing two damage, which is really easy for most decks. This couples all 6/6 into one creature and gives it stealth to start with.

The twigs are his camouflage!
can we have a legendary card that works like blood knight, except that it reveals all stealthed minions? :D

That would be incredibly broken
Thanks FOO(The Banner God)!

Is everyone seeing the wailing soul synergy I'm seeing? Wailing soul synergy can be great, along with cards like anub'ar ambusher in the same deck!

If tempo Rogue becomes a thing this would be a good card for it, can't see it being that useful in combo or miracle rogue decks though.
Tempo rogue used to be the thing - so yeah, I think there's a good chance it's coming back.

Turn 5 this, turn 6 Sap the opponent's Belcher, double cold blood for Lethal, attack face and redirect to Sylvanas. New meta.
Ogre Ninja has by far the best flavor and sounds.
