I know it's a poorly stated minion, I mean even likes playing a 5 mana 3/3.
But recently, even more since the buffs, mechs are everywhere.
From Pogo rogue and 1 mana 15/15s to Mech paladin which magnetizes all their mechs onto one, I feel like the Operative could have a window of playability.
What do you guys think?
PS : Secondary debate after seeing your comments :)
Seeing what everybody has said (and I agree) I feel like it should even be 3 mana. If at 4, spellbreaker would be prioritized, and I do not think 3 mana would be broken.
When you think of it, the Golakka Crawler and the Hungry crab were well stated (2 mana 2/3 and 1 mana 1/2) and they had a similar effect. It is true that Mechs tend to be bigger than Pirates and Murlocs, but that is mostly due to the magnetic ability. Making it a 3/3 without a gain in stats when the battlecry condition is applied.
Also, I know it may seem super OP at 3 mana, but I believe Mechs are just too OP. They dominate so strongly the meta that enabling a playable E.M.P. Operative would give other tribe-decks a chance to fight back.
I think big game hunter is a better choice for removal tech. After the card buffs I added 2 spellbreakers and 1 operative to my control warrior list, but then switched the latter for BGH as the operative seemed to be useless in most games.

This is the card we're talking about : E.M.P. Operative

Spellbreaker is as good as Operative in most matches and better against Mech Paladin due to Kangor's Endless Army.
True.
Thats the only thing I can say xD

AND far better statted were you to play it as a vanilla minion. Oh, and more flexible too.
E.M.P. Operative is just a poor tech card which is vastly overshadowed by silence minions.
I always thought this should be a 4 mana card.
All of the above.
Please don't tell my girlfriend about my card collection...

i.m.o. should be a 5 mana 3/5 that says: Battlecry: Silence and destroy a mech. That might be worth it putting it in your deck now.
Yeah 3 mana is fine, I wouldn't be sad at all if less mechs see play.
