OKay, I am playing a Rush Warrior deck. Spirit of the Rhino text states: Your RUSH minions are IMMUNE the turn they are summoned.
So, I play 3 Rush minions with the Spirit Rhinon already on board into a Priest board that includes Convincing Infiltrator, a deathrattle minion who's text states:deathratte: destroy a random enemy minion.
Logic tells me that IMMUNE means immunity to dying as well as taking dmg. So I trade into the Infiltrator expecting it to hit a Rush minon, with no effect at all.
That didnt happen. My Rush minion died with the IMMUNE halo shining around them!
This doesnt seem correct to me. Its the whole point of the Spirit of the Rhino.
like it seems silly to allow them to die with IMMUNE on them. and I know the deck is trash too, I just felt like experimenting with something different and litterally started with putting most of the Rush cards into the deck. So please no stupid "your deck sux bro" comments. LOL
Immune characters can't be damaged, and can't be targeted by their opponent.
They can still be destroyed by untargeted effects (such as Twisting Nether), randomly targeted destruction (such as Convincing Infiltrator) or destruction effects which 'automatically' target them (such as Vaporize).
They can also still have any other similar AoE effects affect them, so long as it isn't damage. They could be healed by a Circle of Healing, for example.
Hearthstone immunity means - not targetable and health will not be decreased. That's all. I was also quite surprised when for the first time I experienced that my immune minion died because of brawl (dungeon run). Vanish will also destroy it, regardless of immunity bubble...
Hover over a card with Immune in game and it will show a tooltip saying something along the lines of "Immune - can't be damaged". So yeah, they can still be destroyed.
If you are searching inconsistencies connected to the immune - there is one that quite literally pissed me - during one of the dungeon runs I had immune 1/1 creature and a shrine with effect that adjacent creatures have taunt... Guess what - taunt was present, but was also completely ignored by the enemy minions...
-Immunity. I see as unable to have an alteration to it's normal status from external sources. (i.e. poison, shape-shifting, health changes) This wouldn't cover fighting however, so trading into other minions and taking damage makes sense. -Immunity does not have the same concept as immortal or indestructible which prevent death. That's just my take on the concepts vs the rules.

The enemy can't target Immune minions, so of course they ignored it. Can't attack something you can't target. The same thing happens if you give a Taunt minion Stealth (or vice versa, I suppose).
I know that in the HS logic it's the same as for stealth, but for those it has more sense (common sense is behind the rules :) ). In case of immunity with taunt why not block attack completely instead of bypassing the taunt? I would say it makes more sense - there is a minion with active taunt, visible for the enemy, and will lose taunt if shrine is not active.

What are your thoughts about this?

Immune just means that it cant take dmg
where does it say that so I can know for sure?

thx your correct. I found the text on Hearthstone Wikii. I had no clue about this until now. LOL Thx for your help.
Additionally to that, immune Paladins (through Time Out! can still be destroyed by an activated Mechathun.

It's not a matter of logic, but of game's rule: on HS the keyword Immune means that the minion will not take damage as the effect persists.
If you hoover on a card, tooltips explaining all its keywords will pop up.
For what profit is it to a man, if he gains the world and loses his own soul?

Cute, ineffective, but cute.
