The rubber banding this card had with SOOOO MANY CARDS will now sorta be over, and will become now a 3 card combo to ruberband it, instead of a two which is a fair nerf and the card will see play, but not made worthless.
I just went through the comments of the new Regis youtube video and I saw someone mentioning Odd Warrior getting a buff in wild.
Now, I don't think that this archtype will be that strong immediately after the nerfs (Big Priest will benefit from Kingsbane Rogue's absence the most), but if the priest deck gets weakened one day, then warrior players will have a reason to be happy there. Increasing Elysiana's cost to 9 makes that deck stronger against other control ones, so Odd Warrior gets a strong tool in that MU.
Control is not viable in wild till Blizz nerfs Barnes/big priest. You can't outvalue big priest's insane late game of diamond spellstones and resurrects. Only aggro has a chance by rushing them down by turn 6/7 before diamond spellstones just wins the big priest. Barnes will win big priest turn 4 in many games as well. Odd Warrior wouldn't run Elysiana anyway, useless vs. aggro and big priest anyway.
Well, I would like to disagree with you about control not being viable against Big Priest. While this is mostly true, some control decks have good chances dealing with priest's resurrect spells if their class gives them the needed tools. Transform hard removals for example like Hex, Polymorph, Potion of Polymorph and Devolve dilute the ress pool with weaker minions. I played Steal Priest against that archtype and the cards I considered to be MVP were Potion of Madness and Entomb (I want to say Mind Control as well, but the fast-paced meta didn't allow me to use it). Some users, like Pathod, had a good win-rate against Big Priests prior to RoS with decks like Renolock (pure control one) thanks to Kazakus's polymorph potions and Sylvanas Windrunner. So not all control decks are viable (I acknowledged odd warrior being one of them) against Big Priest, but some classes give you the needed tools to fight this archtype.
I have a stupid question. How does the current Big Priest deck look like? I haven't played competitively in wild for 2-3 weeks, so I can't speak from first experience but some users claim, that the newest ladder Big Priest decks cutBarnes in favour for Catrina Muerte. They claim, that Barnes became obsolete and only ruins the resurrection pool. If this is true, then nerfing that card won't affect the deck that much. Archmage Vargoth made the deck even more annoying than before and it's not just one card that needs balancing, but I don't know what the perfect nerfs can be. Before it was obvious that Barnes was responsible for all of this, because he enabled early-game mana cheating and Big Priest was vulnerable if they couldn't resurrect the big minions early on. But with every expansion priest improves its arsenal of good defensive tools and manages to delay the game.
Now that Kingsbane rogue will be nerfed, this will be even more visible.

Cutting Barnes from Big Priest is suicidal, it is the only card that makes the deck somewhat viable.
This nerf is stupid. They should have either made it 10 mana to prevent Coin+Panda as well or left her alone altogether. Furthermore, it's now a new tool in Odd Warrior arsenal in Wild.
All of those lists feature Barnes, so I guess people are still reliant on him. Ok, in this case I can see how an increase to his cost would affect Big Priest, but I think that people would still find another way to minimize its weaknesses and keep the deck annoying. They will just have to play the greedier list (the one I mentioned above), which admittedly will be weak against aggro (minion cheating will be possible from turn 6+), but thanks to Archmage Vargoth it will continue to wreck control decks.
Should I DE golden Elysiana? Crafted a week ago and I think I have already had enough of the golden bling, better craft 2 legendaries?
On the Big Priest note: You should have seen how he resurrected 4 '1/1' and '0/3' from my Renolock with summons such a pleasure.
Yeah, I would always DE golden legendaries to gain extra dust. I have never been a person, that cared about having golden epics/legendaries in his deck, so from a crafting perspective it's better to dust her and be able to create something new. She will still be useful in standard (thanks to Shudderwock), so you could recraft her but only the normal version.

How the hell did i not see that, thank you so much,i'm crafting her right now
Hold on, partner. While I also think, that odd warrior gets a small buff in wild, many users convinced me that control warrior has better win-conditions there (the quest or DMH). I suggest you read some of the comments in this thread before you get overexcited:

For Vargoth to carry, Priest needs to draw Essence before Vargoth and pull Vargoth from Essence at turn 6. Currently Vargoth feels like OP because Priest highrolls on turn 3 with Barnes and then follows it up with Essence into Vargoth on turn 6. Barnes to 6 mana will kill the deck and Shadow Essence can be nerfed to 7 mana just to be completely certain.

Tbh very often I have lost to Big Priests as Jade Shaman only because I couldn't deal with Vargoth's provided value. SE can be fetched with Shadow Visions, so you don't have to draw the 6 mana spell before playing Vargoth. Also, if you highroll and SE lands on Vargoth, then you still get a free minion despite not drawing the 4-drop.
Really, I don't always face Barnes on turn 4 and lose to him. In fact when I do, I'm super happy if the priest gets a statue, because I can handle that minion pretty well. As I said, in the past the problematic cards were obvious to me and I was aware of the perfect nerfs, but with each passing year the deck narrows down its weaknesses and it's not easy to fix. Anyway your nerf ideas seem reasonable to me.
So what do you guys think is it still viable to play this card in control warrior or is it better to be dusted? I think the card might be useful to keep for control shaman and still warrior as after a big Naomi play you can generate 10 cards to keep going ?
Definitely still viable and the go-to choice for control mirrors. you still auto lose in control mirrors if you don't run this card. Nomi ain't saving you if you can only play him once.
I don't think it's a bad change but I'm not certain if it was needed.Good nerf though, the claim that with the coin you win the mirror is probably Speed TestScrabble Word FinderSolitaire a meme I doubt many people will run a panda to win the mirror 50% of the time.

I dusted it, then immediately regretted it. Recrafted it and am happy I did.

Nice, now Warrior mirrors will last 1 turn instead of 45, just depending on who has the coin.

The goal of all life is death.
I got her in a pack and plan to DE her. Even if you craft a non-golden version, two legendaries are twice as many as one, right?
Don't dust her, she'll still be good
If they wanted to nerf Warrior, they should have done just that, by nerfing Omega Devastator and/or Dr. Boom, Mad Genius.

I stand corrected. I came back from the university and I took a look at the meta snapshots in wild.

As for Big Priest - yeah, I can imagine it.
I never really played her, even though I got most of the cards for ctrl warrior. Can't wait to dust her, since i got her golden.
I do what I must, when I must. Know this well.
