I think they made a mistake here. They needed to adjust Preparation OR Raiding Party but not both. I think Raiding Party would have been fine staying where it was with the Prep adjustment. It already would have kept RP from being a "free spell" in conjunction with Prep.

Rogue has been so strong this past two months i think they didnt want to nerf it just a little. Maybe after some test they will reverse one of both cards ( mostly raiding party now that preparation only reduce cost by 2 ), sort of how they nerfet Unleash the Hounds to 4 and then buffed it to 3, but time will tell

Yeah I see that. I am not a very good player by any means and I blasted up to Rank 5 for the first time (I usually hover around rank 10) with Rogue. I think I went on a streak from rank 9 to rank 5 without losing a single game. Once I hit rank 5 though I hit my usual wall.
bit overdone considering the prep nerf aswell. i would have expected one of the two cards to be nerfed and imo this is just tad over the top in terms of nerfing rogue
Of course Waggle Pick can't be nerfed because it's one of the very few good cards of the new expansion, instead blizzard killed the only good card of the last expansion.

Everyone is running ooze to deal with that already. Rogues might just cut raiding and waggle once the nerfs go live.
Fair nerfs. My only disapoint is that they didn't nerf all the strong card from every class and decide to nerf class per class apparently
We might see a second balance patch in June since the first one came so early and Blizz only nerfed Rogues. They really need to hit Barnes/big priest in wild.
As a rogue main, let's find the next OP shit to fuck over everyone, the Prep nerf has told me I need to be as much of a scumbag as possible if I want consistent results with Rogue, no more fun academic/togwaggle scheme decks, just not worth it anymore.

If you thought you knew what you think I know, then you'd know I knew you knew I know.
You can still coin + Raiding Party on 3 and then Waggle + 2x Corsair on 4. Rogue will be just fine.
That being said, nerfing rogue without giving some nerf-love to Mage seems crazy. Conjure's Calling could use a bump to 4 mana. Warrior at least got a very minor nerf with the hit to Archivist; didn't hurt bomb warrior, but at least the eternal Control Warrior games will be slightly less likely.

Well, guess were going back to play miracle rogue then. Boycottblizzard#

I just logged in and saw the nerfs. WUT?
This nerf was expected and is fair.
A fair nerf.

Good nerf. Should be much more fair now.

Really didn't care about this nerf - never used the card and never had a problem with it.
Good.

This was the only one that needed to be nerfed. Nerfing preparation hurts rogues overall.

This coupled with the hit to Preparation is pretty substantial, I have to admit.
Nerf is fair, Preparation is not a fair nerf, but I guess that will going to happen eventually and it did.
Ascendit a terra in coelum, iterumque descendit in terram, et recipit vim superiorum et inferiorum.
4 mana Draw 3 is still very good, especially since it tutors two types of cards at the same time. Could easily cost 5 and would still be playable.
