Myra's Unstable Element doesn't actually draw cards. It draws cards until you have 10 in your hand and then something else happens to the rest of your cards. If a rogue plays Myra's with bombs in their deck, but doesn't draw a bomb until their hand is full, none of the bombs in the deck go off. Since a bomb placed in a deck by Seaforium Bomber, for example, should go off when drawn, if it doesn't go off, Myra's did not draw the card. There must be a state that a card can be in other than drawn. Drawn with a full hand must mean it burns without activating. Maybe this is documented somewhere in the meta text.
This has always been the case with "when drawn" cards and full hands. The striders rogue shuffled into their hands also don't activate if drawn with a full hand. They burn without activating at all. But they are still "drawn" ... or maybe "overdrawn" is a better way to put it?
If Myra's is supposed to draw all cards and bombs are supposed to go off when drawn, then they should go off. If they don't, they were not drawn. So burn is a state comes before draw. Is it documented or just always been that way?
If the bomb are located after all the cards drawn by myra into your hand, then they are overdrawn and burnt. The bombs are not activated. If the bomb are located before the cards drawn by myra then every bomb will be activated. You were just unlucky.
quick analogy, if you are a warlock and you have 10 cards in hand and you use your hero power and the card drawn is a bomb it will not go off, it will burn as any other card will do
and that's what myras element does too, it draws all the cards, and the ones that are drawn while your hand is full are being burnt
and it has always been like that with any cards that have "on drawn" effect, be it spiders, bombs, candles, anything, for the card with "on drawn" effect to be activated you have to have an empty space in your hand
If you attempt to draw a card, but you can't because your hand is full, the card is burned instead of drawn. "Cast when drawn" effects naturally won't trigger when the card is burned.
A card counts as drawn when it falls in your hand.
If a card is milled (burned), the drawing process is aborted before getting to completion, hence the cast when drawn card won't trigger, nor will it count as drawn in any way.
So, a card cannot be drawn unless there is a spot in your hand for it. So Myra's is not drawing cards above the 10 in your hand -- it's burning them. Thank you all for the explanation.

This has always been the case. Drawing a spider or candle from your deck when your hand was full burned it, regardless of using Myra's or not.
Huh?

Always been this way.
