Cool card but horrible in practice. They have to nerf to at least 9 mana You can easily bounce four times with Baleful and Youthful if you wanted and hit the turn limit. Brutally bad miss on design
Four times?
Have you not heard of Shadowstep, Daring Escape, and Vanish?
I do Elysiana + Shadowstep, Elysiana + Shadowstep, Elysiana + Brewmaster + Prep + Daring Escape, Elysiana + Brewmaster + Prep + Daring Escape, Elysiana + actual second Brewmaster, Elysiana + Baleful Banker, and Elysiana + Baleful Banker or I don't play Elysiana at all.
Probably they'll nerf her up to 10-mana (9-mana would mean she could still be bounced if you're on the coin, which would skew control matchups even further....at least in tournament play)
I like the idea that Shaman is the only class (aside from Rogue, I guess, but show me a working Control Rogue) that gets to trigger her again via Shudderwock because it gives a certain uniqueness to Control Shaman (no direct win condition, but has the advantage of being able to go 10 cards deeper into fatigue than any other Control deck).
Right now every Control deck has to run the Brewmaster package or else they will just flat out lose to any other Control deck that runs it.
If we remove the possibility of a Brewmaster bounce then Warrior will still be the best Control deck based on removal, but Shaman will work as somewhat of a hard counter based on the fact that it gets more value out of Elysiana (which also depends on them not having their Shudderwock or Elysiana Hecklebotted...and also they need to hold on to Shudder and can't use it until they've drawn through their firsrt Elysiana deck)

Shadowstep, Prep + Daring Escape, Flobininous Floop. Also if she doesn't die or if the opponent plays her just once, Priest has double Seance + their own copy of Elysiana.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.
A nerf would make her unplayable. She is extremely important in control mirrors but practically dead vs faster decks, and has a very reasonable winrate, way below cards like Zilliax.
From a powerlevel perspective, her abyssmal winrate in higher levels in Wild tells me the DKs are much stronger and they were never nerfed...

8 Elysianas or nothing.

I tried having fun once. It was awful.

Why do people run it with Brew master instead of with Balefull Banker? 11 cards instead of 10 + you get to keep the 7/7 body on board.
