Feels like a game changer to me. It is especially good with weenie strategies I think, just because of how aggressively costed it is. I am starting to feel bad for TSC because all these new pally weapon cards do not play nice with it. I wonder if paladin weapon control could be a thing very soon.
This feels like the paladin version of Naxx's Dark Cultist for priest. A card that's slightly more powerful than it ought to be, to make a control version of that class more viable in the early game. And let's be fair: constructed control paladin could use some love, especially in a meta as fast as this one.
Real nice looking weapon. Stormforge Axe with the same mana adding the overload. Also has Divine shield and taunt attached to it. For the comparison with Stormforge Axe, look at Mortal Strike and Fireball (and it's not like Coghammer is strictly better).
However, while this card is great, it has the same weakness as all other weapons, so it probably won't be OP. Might interfere with True Silver and loses value if Ooze or Harrison Jones gets popular (then again, most people probably don't own Harrison).
Really crazy this card. I am overwhelmed, seriously, in arena this weapon is godlike for early pressure, in ranked we going to see some awesome stuff as well.
Really good card. Taunt + Divine shield has a potential to 2-for-1 and the 3 charges + 2 attack are really good in the early game. Finally Team 5 showing some love to paladins
Not so usefull at turn 3 if your 2 drop is dead or weak. You need something bigger to get buffed. And 2/3 is not good at killin 4/4 s or anything bigger. Really.
Shaman weapon is good cause it buff unbound and it can deal with pesky 3/2s at turn 2.
Sure you can't get optimum value out of the Battlecry on turn 3, but that was exactly his point. Very early on you're happy to have a 2/3 weapon. Later in the game you're much happier about the Battlecry. Stormforged Axe is better very early, but pretty much always significantly worse if you don't happen to draw it that early.
Crazy good. Playing this on turn 3 with a minion on the board will almost instantly win arena games. Giving a shield to a minion that can attack that turn can cause huge swings. (Argent commander's shield is way better than sunwalker's shield). Paladin's will crush aggro decks with this.
Really liking where this expansion is going. The "optimal" choices are dwindling, so maybe two Palys on the ladder will differ not in only ~5 cards but in ~10 cards. More diversity sounds awesome!
Stat and ability-wise it is a very good card. I wonder however how much play it will going to see though. Paladin's weakness is the early game, where it is not that great. At turn 3, you need to have a minion to get full value and without it, the card is not that great. If you draw it lategame, the effect is great, but the weapon's usage is limited as it has only 2 attack. I think it will be in the Sword of Justice category, it will see some play, but I'm not sure if it is gamebraking. In arena it will be great, the previous comment was about constructed.
This card is great if you have one big minion on board. But in that case you don't need 2/3 weapon. So that's no that great. This is anti aggro card. You play yeti turn 4. You play this turn 5 with something for 2 mana. You get great value and you can kill small minions whom could break divine shield easy.
But if you want to play this turn 3 you can only buff your 2 drop. And trade something from enemy away. If enemy play 3/4 or harvest golem and remove your divine shield you cannot do anything with your 3/2 taunt.
So this is lategame card. Not tempo play.
Actually I think this card shines in early game value and tempo. If you put this on a late game minion, The Black Knight could easily ruin your day. But in either case it can be really good, since the divine shield usually kills a minion anyways. You would play this for basically the same reason you would play an Argent Protector.
Taunt is worth 0,5 imo, and I feel generous. I don't think the taunt effect will really be useful.
Don't forget that it gives his battlecry to a random minion, so if you have a lot of minion on the board it is not that great. So, remove 0,5.
So, when you have a board it is 2,5 + 1 + 0,5 - 0,5 = 3,5
Average (3,5 + 2,5 ) / 2 = 3 => Exactly his mana cost!
You could argue that maybe it is worth 3,25, but that perfectly fine. Many cards are worth a little bit more than their mana cost, particularly epic cards and class cards.

This weapon is absolutely incredible. Next to Shrinkmeister, this could be the best reveal of GvG yet. Grats paladins on such a kick ass weapon!!
more Blood Knight synergy too
i prefer handlock over zoo.

Can't kill northshire, manaworm, mechwarper which are 1 and 2 drops.. However I don't know how effective this weapon could be with tokens out.
Watcher Paladin anyone?

That's a good card, Shaman pays 2 for 2/3 weapon with overload. this cost 3 and has great battle cry. Good value.

This card automatically makes Muster for Battle a lot worse.

Is Watcher Paladin gonna be a thing now? I hope so.

This card is great exactly what Paladin needed! I can see this card being viable in agro and control deck.
It is very good, but I wouldn't say it is OP. It is fine particularly for an epic card.
Stormforged Axe is worth 2 + 1 overload = 2,5 (because overload give you momentum)
Coghammer cost 3, so on an empty board it isn't great value. But still decent.
Divine shield is worth 1 mana (Hand of Protection)
Taunt is worth 0,5 imo, and I feel generous. I don't think the taunt effect will really be useful.
