reminds me of the priest legendary in knights, I don't think she is safe craft seems like a trap, once the aggro decks get more optimized you won't be able to play her. except mirrors. shaman should outvalue you without her, shudderwock, hagatha 1 hagata 2.
Hunter tries to kill you while having a lot of value.. specially with zuljin.
Token Druid can't be board cleared by warrior with their 10 board refills so again you don't need her.
I think you would probably want an actual win condition rather than controlling till they fatigue.. most games don't reach fatigue!!
The point you bring up make a lot of sense. Sounds like most of the time she is a Dead card sitting in the hand more than anything. Haven't crafted her yet, still debating with myself.
Having read this post I think I've decided I'll wait to see how the meta settles down even more.
It really is kind of comparable to Archbishop Benedictus, that never came to mind til you brought it up.
As a control player, I'd say she's worth crafting, subjectively. If you're into control decks than you clearly don't care for playing aggro decks. Ladder is a grind no matter how you look at it, at least its decently fun if you're playing a deck you like. I've tried switching to decks or classes i didn't like because it would net me an easier win occasionally but just made it less fun.
It's a tech card. You put it in there if a lot of matches are going to fatigue in the current meta. Otherwise it's not worth it to have it as a dead card for most or all of the game.
On the other hand it could be the only thing that saves you if a Bomb Warrior has shuffled 6+ bombs into your deck. If he's already used almost all his bomb tools and the bombs are still in your deck it's worth considering. I guess it's a good tech card for the current "meta" but we don't know what the meta will look like in two weeks. Regardless, in the future whenever the meta slows past a certain point this card will be valuable tech, so it's likely to come in handy sooner or later even if Bomb Warrior slides.
@Noiser I'm pondering that right now. Lots of golden value but I have no clue how often I'd get to play it. I've only been playing with Whizbang while I decide what to craft golden. What do you think?
IF you are a control player, and IF you play also in wild, then definitely yes. She fits right into Reno decks etc. and is quite simply a massively fun card to play!
It is worth noting that her best use right now is in slower bomb warrior decks.
The future potential is also undeniable as a post DKs lategame resource creator. She will most likely end up in tier 2 as the no. 1 neutral, but there are stronger legendaries from this expansion!
I think she's a great card. Her effect is simple but very powerful and doesn't require any prep. Just does her thing. I'm torn between crafting her in normal or golden myself.
I'm about to craft her golden. She's a safe craft. It's a must in control vs. control. If it gets to fatigue and you don't have it you auto-lose. So as a control deck you load up on anti-aggro tools and hope to outvalue other control decks with this as your closer (and accept you probably just lose to combo). And of course she's neutral.
As far as golden value goes she's very solid. She discovers different golden cards for you every time you play her and they'll vary with different classes so you get a lot of variety from her and a lot of value.
Art-wise she's not Kalecgos levels of better as a golden card but she looks good. (No golden Kalecgos on site yet, sorry.) The golden card would be twice as good if the light in the background was dynamic like on War Master Voone. Missed opportunity there sadly.
Oof....the Shudderwock copy wow. Does that allow you to choose the cards?
Also with Rogue or any deck that can draw quickly you can push for fatigue then play Nomi then this. Also can do that to further up the ante in control vs control.

Yes you should, I would if I could.
Dead but dreaming
If you can spare the dust and think you will like playing her, do it!
If you need to be frugal with your dust, wait a bit!
Thanks for all the responses guys, I really appreciate it.

nvm
Probably yes* if u care more about havin fun rather than grinding with netdecks
yeah def.

another perk is that she's a neutral.

the real question is, should i craft it golden?

If you are "mainly a Control player" i guess you'll use it very often!

I imagine she's probably going in every control deck. I bet she actually ends up being a T1 legendary. She's probably the Zilliax of this set.
I think she's a great card. Her effect is simple but very powerful and doesn't require any prep. Just does her thing. I'm torn between crafting her in normal or golden myself.
In this case is the safest craft in this expansion, do nothing in everything else.

probably one of the best control cards, especially looking at the meta right now.
If you want to play Control Warrior (with or without bombs) it's a great late game tool alongside Dr. Boom
Also works well in Shaman because of Shudderwock
also counter Bomb Warriors (somewhat) so that's always a plus.
I tried having fun once. It was awful.
