See, if it would summon another Underbelly Ooze when damaged, it would be an interesting, albeit slower Grim Patron, and maybe even good enough. But it summons a copy of itself. Outside of buffing it, like giving it Taunt and other things and getting super value, the copy will always be weaker than the original minion, and DAMN is that slow. A snail of a card that needs an extra buff...
Interesting card, but way too expensive to make use of it.
Guys, this is completely different then Grim patron. Grim Patron summons ANOTHER Grim patron, while this summons a copy. Meaning, if someone deals 3 dage to it, you will have two 3/2-s not a 3/2 and a 3/5
This is not like Grim Patron at all people. This summons a exact copy of itself and not just another base copy, this means that you will have two 3/4's if you whirlwind it, and four 3/3's if you cast double whirlwind with it. It also means that you can use cards like Charge or Inner Rage with it and all of the copies will gain the effects. May be fun in a meme control hunter with Goblin Prank as a funny boardclear, but I don't see it going into any real decks. (if they put out a way to give a minion charge at some point this may become kind of nutty though)
This is worded slightly differently from Grim Patron so if you play Rocket Boots on this, all subsequent copies will also have rush. However, they will also be damaged and have whatever other buffs you put on this.
I don't know what the power level is going to be when you actually put this in your deck.
I do know, however, that whenever you are performing an evolve mechanic on another creature, there are many cases where this will be the best 7-cost option in the game.

Loooooool 3/5 patron????? This card is insane. Needs more time to set up in warrior but 5 health on the spawns? yeah have fun clearing those boards. Broken AF
The spawns wouldn't have 5 health. If this takes one damage and then summons a copy of itself, it would be a 3/4.
Yup, that card is garbage. Alot of people voted "meta defining" without reading your post, oops.
If the copy retains the damage...then its probably not worth it. Too bad, I was excited until I read the comments. Maybe could see play in a big warrior deck that runs the new new "summon a copy from your deck" mechanics, but those suck pretty hard too.
This card is insane. I think this will be the sleeper neutral of the set. This may be the missing piece that pushes buff Paladin to top tier. If this survives one turn and then gets a big buff and attacks the following turn, that is crazy. It will demand hard removal. This with any taunt granting buff is crazy. AND it is neutral. Druid has some crazy new buffs. So many recruit a minion and give it rush mechanics. How many board clears are left that can deal with these? Mass Hysteria? Yes please. Can't wait to try this with my own Mass Hysteria after a few health buffs. This or whatever card makes this broken will be one of the first cards nerfed from this set. I wonder if 7 mana isn't high enough...
In a Warrior, for 10 Mana, you could go Ooze -> Charge -> Inner Fire -> Rampage for two 5/4 + 8/7 Rush minions that if they survive their trades, leaves you with 4 minions with lots of attack.
Might be able to be used in a Pally or Priest deck. Drop this and buff its health, causing issues for removing it, leaving a good target for Blessing of Kings, or OTKing with divine spirit/inner fires, causing more headaches.
It's better in some ways than Patron, because patrons are 3/3, while this could be replicating 7/7s (well, 7/6, 7/5 etc).

Oh it summons a copy of itself.. NVM this is garbage... packfiller at the dump.
Got excited for nothing.

This card will be good if you can buff it and then copy, but on it's own it's not great because it summons damaged copies.

strictly worse than Grim Patron because we dont get the "Hey Everyone" sound clip.
It prolly wont be great, and I dont want it to be.
1 star dust.

Oh, Lethal - where did you go? I miss you all the time.

Everyone, get in here!
Until you couldn't OTK your opponent.
Imagine having this guy stick on the board.
This card with Evolve? Hard Nerf! Imagine how many zero mana cards Shaman has.

this together with the druid synergies........watch this space Druid is going to be the class to beat in the new meta ;)
EVERYBODY GET IN HERE
I'm not one to say, "This card will never see play," but I might have to make an exception here.
You have to work really hard and hold your mouth just right to get any kind of decent value out of this thing.
So yeah, no, this will never see play.
