The question is what does this even do vs slower decks. It puts Zero pressure on HP. Control Decks can Just ignore it. If Meta is realy Board Aggro token heavy this card shines. Maybe it will fade in and out depending on meta
Like, this minion deals 1 damage to a random enemy minion. Unlike Flamewaker it can't hit the enemy's face and it does far less damage. Imagine how there is a 3 health minion on the opponent's board. You need to cast 3 whole spells to kill it, which just seems super weak. It's nowhere near as powerful as the aforementioned mage card.
Only hit minions is a bonus and not a downside most of the time, how many times you want to kill a huffer with flameswalker and all hits go in the hunter's face...
2 damage for spell in a 2 cost minion and tempo mage will be Tier S in Standard.
This is what Flamewaker would look like after an encounter with Blizzard's nerf-to-oblivion bat. You might call it a Flame-weaker.
I think a lot of people overestimate that card based on distant memories of Casino Mage (which was at best a tier 2 deck anyway). Only dealing 1 damage per spell instead of 2 is a big deal, and this card cannot even hit the face. Probably won't work out.
I like Flamewalker so much, that I am definitely going to try this Frog. Too bad it's just 1dmg (I would prefer 2dmg, but with 1 "magic dart").
