What the heck?! This card is insane! Apart from the fatigue value, there are unimaginable combos this card can create! And whis that said there comes a question. Does this work with Tak Nozwhisker ?? Does replace your deck also mean shuffle these cards into it? If this is a fact then rogues are catapulted into a new meta!
Not an arena player? This is essentially a mini arena draft for a a new card deck. If you're picking cards for potential combos, rather than for sheer value, you're doing it wrong.
Can't this work well with aggro? You burn through your deck going through all your small minions etc and if the game isn't over by turn 8, you can choose to use this to reload.
This card is beyond broken in arena. in high wins games 8-11 wins, i arrive in 1/3 of them to fatigue and it is decided y who run outs of cards first int heir deck, this refulling your deck with options and preventing fatigue makes it an auto win in high level arena
It seems ok.. Dead Man's Hand is rotating out.. so it would fit perfectly in a heavy control warrior deck that plans to go to fatigue.. Not as OMFG AMAZING as some people are saying.. but a solid anti-fatigue card.. as well as a tech against hakkar decks, if they ever become a thing.. as a matter of fact.. I would consider putting hakkar in that heavy control warrior deck with this..

Aggro doesn't traditionally burn through it's deck. Paladin players have been spoiled to death in that regard XD
8 mana endgame card but it´s a more then serious Elise replacement.... I realy like it already. But it´s a counter to Bombs and Hakkar as well as very serious fagitue defence so as already mentioned close to all control decks will run it ... Arena brought into all control duels ... While i like the concept i dislike auto include cards. I voted meta defining due to propably being played in 90% of all control decks. This should have been a shaman or maybe rouge card not global.
An Archbishop Benedictous for all classes is ludicrous. This is an auto include in every control deck, this patches up Control Paladin's and Control Warlock's weakness in winning the fatigue matches, but since other control decks will be playing this too control matches will just go to a stalemate.
If the meta slows down even a bit (which it's looking like it will) then this will likely be a candidate for a nerf. I like to play control vs control but not when games always just end up going to the turn limit.
EDIT: OH yeah btw, this deletes the corrupted bloods from Hakkar. Let that sink in.
I'm just baffled by the fact, that the 5 cards will be very random. I know, I know - extra resources are always welcome and as a control player I appreciate this aspect (they also delay fatigue). I'm just wondering if those will be good enough to put you in a favourable position over your opponent - remember that Un'Goro Choose Your Path spell? It could discover everything class related - spells, minions (incl neutrals), weapons... It could discover poorly stated basic cards and situational spells. And I'm just wondering if having a dead card almost the entire game is worth it.
I think Elysiana will still be played, but in control warrior and priest decks.
Now obviously we have to test the Plot Twist interaction, in order to see if this will work. If it does, I would prefer it, because I will be certain, that I can fill my deck with strong and reliable cards (e.g. a third Twisting Nether, Lord Godfrey). Also, we warlocks got Arch-Villain Rafaam and I prefer to use him, in order to delete the Hakkar bloods.
Furthermore if the meta slows down, then normally combo decks start to see play. And you can trust me, when I say, that Freeze Burn mage will be a thing. The deck got Kalecgos and I can see how it runs two copies of Pyroblast just to be annoying af.
Filling your deck with cards you choose is better than just random legendaries at any given point of the game. Also we just got like what, 5 tech cards now for getting rid of combo pieces? Druid and for the most part Priest can't perform OTK's anymore, All we got is Mech'athun Warrior and Hakkar Paladin but most of tech cards ruin Mecha'thun and this card shits on Hakkar while funny enough also being a way for any deck to play a deck like Hakkar Paladin.
Plot twist shenanigans will only add more fuel to the fire that this card creates. You wanna do that? fine. You think it's better than this card? fine. But doesn't change the fact that every other class besides Hunter is gonna run this.
So many people are gonna waste 1600 dust on this bait card!
I've seen a comparison with Benidictus omg ! Benedictus adds a whole bunch of good cards into your deck, can be played at any time. This DESTROYS YOUR DECK then adds 2x5 randoms discovered cards into it.
You say this counters fatigue, have you forgotten that every expansion Blizzard introduce tools that specifically counter fatigue archetype through polarized mechanics and synergy? There is no fatigue in hearthstone anymore, almost ever.
Yeah, this expansion is value driven. But combo decks will keep value in check as they always did.
So what exactly does this card do to benefit your game plan, other than sitting in your hand for a longer time than Dr. Boom's Scheme?
What class do you play this in? I can only think of Rogue because of Myra's Unstable Element, or warlock. But rogue has Academic Espionage and Togwaggle's Scheme, they don't need to pay 8 mana to add crap cards in their deck. So Warlock? Tap tap tap then play this on turn 23 when your deck is empty? Nope, combo deck killed you 10 turns ago my dude.

This card is extremely cool BUT
Control mirror matches are now almost entirely won or lost by this card's RNG.

Also glad Zola is rotating, but there's still brewmasters...

And Seance! And Shadowstep! And Lab Recruiter!
edit: Holy shit boys, Togwaggle's Scheme! Fatigue Rogue new meta!

I already love this card, omg !!!! S2
I'm sorry for my bad english :D
Who the hell is voting this card for "META-DEFINING" ??? :))))))))
This card may be fun, playable, a tool against fatigue but.... meta-defining???? No way!

Lol. I think fatigue rogue actually does better without this, but then I suspect you already know that :p
This card should have been the freebie given to everyone.
Agreed!

In the year 20XX, every deck is hard control. Games are each 2 hours long and every deck plays Chef Nomi and Archivist Alyssiana.
I can’t wait to discover Duplicate and/or Baleful Banker/Zola/Any Brewers/Echo of Medivh for Infinite value!
I like this card a lot. Just wish it wasn't coming out in this expansion.
Was looking forward to FINALLY getting back to expansions where value was a limited and finite thing.
Feels like many of the cards are a response to the previous meta, to things like Toggwaggle Druid. Things that won't exist in standard.
That said, like many of the cards in this expansion, this one is interesting, and I can appreciate that.
As a control player, I think this card will be at least fun to play XD
