Amazing Druid flavor. Interesting ability that's only been done once I think with the Rogue plant. Very weak to silence since it's expensive and you only get one. Made me think of Splintergraft right off the bat to either have two or to be able to play it again after it gets silenced (if it sticks). Something you want to copy with Faceless. Intriguing card!
The whole year of the mammoth had really strong cards that could get demolished by silence such as Voidlord and Obsidian Statue yet we see them a lot, people actually don't learn.
tbf, both voidlord and obsidian statue saw play because they could be cheated out. Hadronox, Possessed Lackey, Carnivorous Cube, and voidcaller often were combo'd in a way that could kill them immediately. Lich King, Ysera, Ragnaros, Aya, and Kathrena already gives you some value and a decent amount of tempo before they get silenced. heck some of them like Deathwing, Cairne, Savannah Highmane, and Bone Drake are decent bodies that if you silence them are still fine.
Lucentbark however just becomes a 4/8 and Druid doesn't have any deathrattle synergies and most of their taunt synergies are rotating out. You can't cheat it out, if silenced the turn after it was played it doesn't give any immediate value, and there is no reason you would want to kill it yourself.
(+) The condition does not have to be fullfilled in one turn
(-) more expansive / comes later
(unclear) how often can you fullfill the condition?
The lack of single turn condition... didn't think of that. I would say that alone makes it better. Still waiting to see how much support this archetype gets (in this and coming expansions), but I like the idea. Would be funny if it meant people started playing Healing Touch and Ancient of Lore.
Guys, you don't run bad cards to make a mediocre card work. You just run actual good cards instead. Healing Touch and Ancient of Lore aren't going to see play.

I wish you would stop trying to make that comparison dominate the conversation. It's intentionally misleading. It's like comparing Tyrantus and Deathwing just because they both cost 10 mana.

Deathwing has an effect that immediately impacts the board; Tyrantus doesn't.
Ironbark Protector is an 8-mana 8/8 taunt with no effect. Lucentbark is an 8-mana 4/8 taunt that only has an effect available half of the time.
My comparison is fine.
Just because Ironbark doesn't see play or because you added a cute gif to your post doesn't mean you're right.

Being able to re-summon a 4/8 taunt for 1-mana for the rest of the game is tempo. A minion that dies is dead.
I'm not saying that this card or the deck that it is in is necessarily good. But it's not a vanilla 8-mana taunt.
Your comparison is not fine. You're trying to make a snarky comparison between apples and oranges.
Right, and the question you have to ask is "how many resurrects do you need in order to make up for the 4 attack?" If you're consistently res'ing two or more times, you're using a total of 3 card slots minimum for 12/24 in taunt stats (total of 36), which is arguably better than using two card slots for 16/16 in taunt stats (total of 32). Otherwise if you're consistently only getting one or less resurrect, you're taking up one to two card slots for 8/16 in taunt stats (total of 24), whereas with double Ironbark you'd be getting 16/16 (total of 32) in taunt stats for the same number of card slots.
Also, in a meta where Silence is high value, you'll have to bait out Spellbreakers before playing this because your opponent will have drawn it by turn 8 almost every time. This getting silenced is so much worse than an Ironbark getting silenced, and you have to take that into consideration as well.

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.
So this was the big heal druid synergy besides the stag? Not worth it. Against aggro and mid-range it is too slow, against slow decks it could work but if it ever becomes popular slow decks will just run 1 silence.
With Sherazin, they have tried the dormant mechanic and it didn't work. I hope now it will work better - the minion is better, the condition is, in my opinion, easier to accomplish than "Play 4 cards in 1 turn" as a rogue (except miracle rogue of course).
I even start to think, that the overall power-level of this expansion is very high... not sure, how does that makes me feel tho.

To slow therefore bad at least this Rotation. Just ask yourself cab Druid outvalue boom hagatha, zuljin or jaraxxus? Answer is no so smorc fast play is onlY winning option. At least for now.

Oh no, if only there was some kind of format in which you could play cards that was not in standard. What a wild idea.
Doesn't keep buffs, heal can be anywhere.
Is this the Sherazin, Corpse Flower of Druid or something better?
Immortal monsters definitely see expirementation and since it’s more like miracle flower then clone king I feel it’ll see much play
A combination of Crystal Power, Keeper Stalladris and Archmage Vargoth can give you the multiple 5 heals that you need for wall druid.
Uncertain. It has some pros and cons.
(+) has Taunt, so can't be ignored on board

You have to compare this to Ironbark Protector.
